Shut up!!! The defense lost the game...the offense actually came back. What about that score before the second half? Was that Chads fault?

You and I both know it happened, even though the server crash prevents links, which is convenient for you until you factor in the fact that a number of people here distinctly remember you doing it. You have no backbone, Rob. Like a jellyfish.

This was all lost in the server crash, but I do seem to recall that after the Jets were officially eliminated from the playoffs, you were among the people saying that the Jets would be better off losing all of their games to get a better draft position. Perhaps I am mistaken, but that's the way I remember it (it was striking, because up to that moment you kept insisting that the team still had a chance, long after everyone else had given up).

I swear on my life, I NEVER started a thread saying I wanted the jets to lose, that is just not right. You are the one with no backbone here.

Again, the the heat of the game there, a 10 yard punt is just pathetic none the less. That right there, if you think about it, pretty much cost us the game.

    I remember it perfectly.
    1. I never started any threads on the topic.
    2. After we were eliminated from the playoffs mathematically, I specifically remember stating that I would watch every game as if it was the preseason, not caring whether it was a win or loss and not get that into the game in general.

You are correct! Kellen Clemens = Aaron Rodgers

    1. I have no clue if you started threads or not, and that really isn't the point, is it?
    2. I told you what I recall regarding the posts. I would not swear to it (since I really couldn't have cared less at the time, and don't right now, either), but my recollection is that you made specific statements about losing the games to get a better draft position. Lots of other people did too, as a matter of fact, but I recall people specifically saying they were surprised that you were doing it.

As noted above, I really couldn't care less either way.

RobA is a good guy. Give him a break. The Heat of the game can get pretty hot. :)

If Chad keeps putting up these types of games, we should definitely move on. QBs are judged by wins and losses, not pretty stats. If the man can't win us games, we need someone who can. I don't think you understood my post, if Chad wins games I'm fine with him starting, if he loses I'd rather try with someone else. I'm a Jets fan, not a Chad fan. I root for the team, not individual players. That's the reason why I had no problems with getting rid of Abe or Mawae, who cares about em. It's all about wins.

You could always go root for the Packers... they have a strong-armed qb who is a future HOFer.

But Chad didn't cost us this game. Out of all our QBs he gives us the best chance to win and that's all I care about.

chad and the recievers are the strong parts of this team right now, the weak parts are our pathetic running game and even more pathetic pash rush, we address those in the draft and find a way to get chad a solid 3rd reciever and this team is gonna be pretty scary next year.

chad showed great poise today he didn't force anything down the field on plays where he had nothing to go for. of the two starting qbs chad was deffinitly better. yes brady came out with the win but he didnt do much to deserve the win. my first thought on bradys intercepion is that he is an arrogant prick who thinks his golden arm can fit the ball inbetween two defensive backs and showed he isnt the best decision maker there is.

it was the rest of the patriots who mostly the running game and D for keeping us off the board the whole first half that get credit for this win brady as just along for the ride today.

chad once again put this offense on his shoulders and once again he rose to the occasion falling a bit short this week but chad has been damn near perfect this year and wont be sitting on the bench anytime soon

Where was Chad the first half?

Who kept converting crucial third down after crucial third down when his team needed it? Give the man credit, Brady killed us.

One game isn't enough to judge, but are you telling me if Chad puts up 300 yards and 2 TDs the next 6 games, and we lose all of them, that we don't need a change? Marbury puts up nice stats in basketball, but the Nets started winning when Kidd replaced him on the team. Drew Bledsoe actually has pretty good stats, but the Pats went onto a dynasty after Brady took over, as a result Bledsoe was sent packing. Kerry Collins actually had good stats with the Raiders last year, but they just didn't win, so he was cut. In the end, your job is to get the Ws. The QB is credited for wins and blamed for losses. And for good reason, the offense basically goes through the guy. That's why the QB gets the big bucks. Win games and nothing else matters. Lose them, and there are questions. If we go just by stats, then Peyton Manning won the last 6 SBs. But we don't, so Tom Brady and Big Ben won the past few SBs. We want Chad to be one of the latter, not the former.

Why would I root for Favre when he loses? Why would I root for another QB anyway? It's like you guys aren't carefully reading my posts.
