I can assure you that ThunderbirdJet is NOT... I repeat... NOT... either of the two douchebags in that draft clip. I've met ThunderbirdJet and can attest to that.

So now, what other personal attacks do you want to employ against him? Bring it on, but I'll be here should you wish to continue. You are way off base about this guy.

Where did you hear that Ryan told him not to travel with the team?

As for the rest of your tirade. QBs and team leaders don't traditionally sit at home while the rest of the team goes off to play the most important game of the season. Usually QBs are right there to help the starting QB on the sidelines dissecting defenses, checking out the coverages, evaluating weaknesses, looking for tendencies and picking up guys to go out and get after it and win the game. This is what QBs and team leaders have been doing in the NFL for the past 50 years or so at least. If Ryan instructed to Sanchez to stay home I would expect that Sanchez would ask Ryan to re-consider and explain to Ryan that is important to Sanchez to be there to help support his team in anyway that he can. You know kind of like the way Kris Jenkins has been doing since he got injured - demonstrating his leadership and support and providing assistance to his teammates. If you are incapable of grasping these concepts that is your problem, not mine.

^ It was in his Wednesday press conference. The reason he's not traveling is so he gets 3 extra days of rehab on his knee.

Okay. If there is a medical reason thats one thing. But dont try to lay on the baloney about how he can't be of value to the team when he is on the sidelines and is somehow better off sitting in jersey.

For example Rothlisberger wasn't playing against Baltimore but he was still on the sidelines in Balmore working the headsets, diagnosing defenses and trying to lead and help his team win despite being sidelined. Mike Timlin didn't say, oh he can learn more sitting at home in pittsburgh.

The biggest obstacle between the Jets and a W this Sunday is Brian Schottenheimer.

Just listened to his presser. He was raving about Clemens in the passing game. Fuck.

So you're saying that the rookie that needs to sit down and learn something from a veteran is the one who should be doing the teaching? Do you normally speak in paradox or just when you sprain your "think spot"?

What I find amazing is that Kellen has not had any reps with the first squad since Sanchez was named starter. Are our practices that weak that we aren't occasionally rotating guys in? Second squad practice is fine but a Pop Warner coach can tell you that if all you play with is the second squad then that is the level at which you will play. If anyone's ego is damaged then they are ignoring the realities of playing football. Clemens last field time made it look like he hadn't touched a football in months.

Clemens got his reps with the first squad this week. Teams typically do not rotate QBs in practice so the starter can be as ready as possible for the game. Every week the offense re-arranges its packages so the starting QB needs as may reps as possible.

I'm not talking about solid rotation, as everyone knows Sanchex needs to feel comfortable. I'm talking about occasional, which lets players know they have to step up their game. Clemens stated that he had not had any reps with Edwards until this week. That is a bit lacking on a few peoples part. Especially in light of Sanchez's first knee injury. When players worked in the off season to make ends meet, they had enough sense to continue after practice to improve themselves.

its always 1s with 1s throughout the regular season. Rotations happen in minicamps.

Is there some physical reason that you have difficulty reading?

Do you understand the following paragraph? Hint: its not a paradox. And it doesn't contain the word "teaching".

    1. Roethlisberger is in his 6th year as an NFL QB who was trying to help a QB who was making his first start in two years as an NFL QB and, prior to the previous week, was the 3rd string, emergency QB.| Mark Sanchez is a rookie. Why would you want a rookie analyzing plays for the QB in his 4th year of play(Clemens) when there is an abundance of coaches who get paid to do nothing else but diagnose and break down plays for the QB who is currently playing.

    2. Roethlisberger had a concussion. What more therapy could he be getting by staying home? Sanchez can get some PT done on his knee and be ready to play next week. There are 4 QBs on the roster, I think the injured one can stay home and work on getting healthy.

Are you only mentally removed from reality or are you actually posting from a coma?

Yes Roethlisberger was trying to help his team win a critical game by doing everything he could to help the players on the field and by demonstrating leadership and solidarity with his teammates. He is a SB champion. He made the roadtrip to do everything that he could do to help his team be successful.

    Really?

It doesn't matter what I want. Im not getting paid Millions to coach this team. I think its interesting that Rothlesberger, an all pro/champion vet was there to do everything he could do to help his team win the game. In contrast Sanchez will be sitting in new jersey doing nothing to help his team win the game and not demonstrating any leadership at all. The first excuse you had for this being a good idea was the baloney about how Sanchez couldn't learn anything from being at the game. That was a totally retarded excuse. Now you want me to believe that this guy that cannot learn anything from being on the sidelines is simultaneously so inexperienced and raw that he is incapable of even helping his teamates in any way by being at the game on the sidelines and working with the coaches and players. So he is being paid 60M over 5 yrs to be the QB and the leader of the franchise but he has nothing to offer to help and support his team win the most important game of the year except for staying home in Jersey....

I didn't know that you were a medical doctor. Sanchez wants to play. He supposedly has only a mild sprain and is supposedly being kept out as a precaution. People play football on mild sprains. PT is readily available to millionaire QBs regardless of whether they are in New Jersey or Tampa Bay - there is no end to the PT he could recieve in TB if he wanted it. New jersey is not the only state in the country that offers PT services to millionaire athletes.

Are you mentally removed from Mark Sanchez's lemons or are you actually posting from his jock?

Yes, Sanchez is demonstrating a lack of leadership by following his coach's orders. Brilliant.

I agree they are likely going to let Clemens throw the ball.

He is missing the opportunity to demonstrate leadership and solidarity w/his team. That is a much different thing than demonstrating lack of leadership - which I never said he was doing. he is missing a leadership opportunity.

If he only has a mild sprain it makes very little sense for him to miss this opportunity to help his team and be a leader. If his injury is worse than that (as many suspect) then not traveling makes more sense.
