I look at it like this... Clemmens is not our QB so for him this is a job audition. If he plays well he'll get some looks if not he'll likely be in the UFL next year. I hope the guy plays well because that means we likely win. The issue is if he does play well as I expect him to people will say he should have been our QB all year (not true). This is a great situation for him. It's going to be warm, he's playing against an awful team and he has a good D and run game behind him. As long as he doens't throw 3 picks and we don't turn it over we should win. The best thing that can happen for him is we win 30- 7 , he throws 3 TDs and the papers say he should have been the QB all year. Other teams and GMs around the league will look at this and maybe want to bring him in as a backup next year. If it goes bad he's likely done in the NFL. Quite simple...

Those are the ten best QBs in the NFL this season. QBR is certainly a helluva alot more accurate than Chris Collinsgworth or Al Micheals are. Everybody in the media especially former QBs like to bitch about them, but the QBR is pretty damned accurate when you look at who the best QBs are. Its not as if there are ANY top QBs who are not at or near the top of the QBR.

I may agree w/you though as to young QBS who are on a developmental curve. In Sanchez's case he has totally sucked in certain games (which is to be expected) and been decent in others and he has seemed to be improving as he gains experience. So his really lousy games may unfairly anchor his QBR such that its not a true reflection of his devlopmental arc.

But for the veteran starters - puhleaze. You can play with various stats all you like. The top QBs have the top QBRs. In that sense it is quite accurate.

LMAO... so now you are not only an expert on NFL rookie QB prospects, you are an expert on whose perhaps differing opions makes them a bad poster? You have to be fucking joking. A blind Sanchez nut sack sucker. Anyone who doesn't want to suck on your favorite teet knows nothing. I think you should be the Jets next O coordinator. Fuckin funny shit.... you make me laugh. You aren't even a Jets fan, you are a Sanchez fan. Let's call it what it is.

    Didn't read anything prior-

Sanchez is a good QB well on his way to being a great QB, Jet fan or not.
Obviously I am a Jet fan but Mark is truly the man.

I obviously hate the Phins as well, but I can see that Henne is a great future QB as well.

Your post is not relevant to pretty much anything other then some personal vendetta.

He has not consistently been in the 60's. The whole point of my post was earlier in this thread was to show that is clearly not the case. He had 3 terrible games that makes it appear as if he's "consistently been in the 60's". That's simply not true.

Those are the keys right there. We also need outstanding play by the offensive and defensive lines.

Agreed; limit Clemens' throws. We have a great running game going up against #31 against the run. If we don't run, it would be catastrophically stupid.

The first couple of series for Clemens will be bad. He always needs a little kick start to get going. I kind of hope he gets sacked a few times early, maybe even turns over the ball. I feel once he gets some of the splinters burned off his ass he may start cooking.

Understandably he has to throw the ball a few times. I don't know what has happened to our screen pass option in the play book. Maybe this is a proper time to call a screen with Clemens throwing.

Run, run, run... Jones should have another stellar day. Hopefully Shonn Greene can go a game without a fumble.

I believe this is KC's last year on his contract, right? I hope he blows it up in this game and does awesome, so that at the end of this year, we can trade him for something. This is a great chance for him to prove to everyone that he's a commodity.

I am not worried at all that Sanchez won't return to be our starter. If there was even a chance of that happening, it would have happened when Dirty had one of his 5-turnover games!

He has a full week of practice with the starters-----------I think he will play well. The coaches can open the playbook a little more if they want because he knows this offense,,,,,,he is in the last year of his contract-----this is not just winning for the Jets, if he plays well he will get a nice offer or offers from other teams at seasons end-if he sucks he will teach gym at a community college--as I said I expect him to play well

 Hilarious. Also funny when he says "Tampa is not a pushover" then the other guy says "They are not a pushover, but they are as close to a pushover as the NFL has." Thats funny.

Read in the Post today that sanchez is not even making the trip to Tampa??

Not sure I agree with that. It would be good to have him on sidelines watching and learning.

He is not making the trip so he can get 3 days of work on his knee (fact). The reason Rex is sitting him is because we're playing a shitty team and he wants to have Sanchez at as close to 100% for the last 3 games as possible (speculation).

and you've gone off the deep end with Sanchez to the point that your credibility that you built here is shot to hell.

I'm can't believe all the posters that have asked you "why have you gone retarded?" because of your blind hatred for sanchez.

My point with Salam was the fact that he was clinging on to a .4 QB rating difference to make a point about Sanchez and Freeman. I wasn't the only one to after him about it and wasn't the first. I think you've been looking to say that for a while, because you are a Sanchez hater and I defend the kid more than some.

No where I have I said anything you've accused me of. You're blind bullshit has gotten you so wound up its embarrassing. I'm not even a jets fan - funny shit TBJ.

Let's face it, since Sanchez was drafted, you've become Fucking Clown Shoes on this board.
