Well, this may be true (the low ball) but compared to what we had, I don't see much difference. They can say all they want to about Pennington's "accuracy," but I think those accolades to some degree pertain to the height of his carreer. Lately Penny's been pretty damned erratic, IMO, and it looks to me like Clemens right now is at least as accurate as Chad was in his last 4 games or so. When rushed, Penny's all over the place in what appears to be a panic pass, even passes that are less than 10 yards. I remember recently seeing several such passes (Cotchery and Washington I think) that could easily have been caught had not the pass been thrown behind their backs. And these were like 8-yard passes, for crying out loud. So, in my mind, we're better off with Clemens, even in the accuracy department, which was really always Penny's main forte'.
Yep to this day that has to go down as one of the worst plays I have seen a NYJ player make & I have seen tons of them
Well yes the spike play was more a play of deception instead of the KOB play which was just plain & simple wimpy. In either case both stunk as the end result of them
