Yeah, you're right. That's assuming of course that the Patriots beat Indy and Miami.

Miami is likely, but I personally think Luck is going to have a field day with your secondary.

If we can find a way to win out, we have a shot at the division... slim, but a shot.
NE has a tough schedule coming up, they could easily drop 3 games.

As with every game so far, it all depends on Mark playing well. Our defense has kept us in most games until the 4th quarter. If we manage to keep the ball moving during the game, control the clock...maybe.

Call me crazy, but I think this new RB is just what the doctor ordered. If we can ground and pound, it means Mark has less chances to screw things up. If that happens, look out.

    10-6. Book it.

All starts with the O line. I don't think there is a back or Khalil is one that make something out of nothing. If the O line steps up and plays well yeah we could go 10-6 but there hasn't been much or any signs that the O line can do this

Dude there is no point in keeping the faith,We aren't going to the playoffs this year accept it already. Once we lose to St Louis it will put nother nail in our already hammered shut coffin

The only thing that helps me keep the faith is that knowing next year the Jets have another year of Coples and Wilkerson and Ellis on the defensive line and Cromartie and Revis in the backfield.

Unfortunately the offense blows. The team will need turnover at guard, tackle, wide receiver, running back and 2 linebacker spots.

It could take years to fix this offense and probably will, I don't see it getting fixed next year with the cap situation what it is. We really need to focus this entrie draft on our offense. I would be willing to say let's take a stud WR in the first round if there is one availble that or a RB, Then if we take a RB in the first round i say we take another WR in the second or an O lineman, this draft need's to be all offense in the first 3 rounds. Hopefully Rex and Tanny have finally learned to stop neglecting the offense it's pitiful thinking they can win with an offense this void of talent

Hate to break it to ya , but you actually have to score points to win or pray the defense can score 20+. Buffalo can score and they played the Pats tight last week. Jacksonville has what we do not. A premier running back! Tennessee just beat the shit out of Miami ; getting the picture yet?

I do believe the Jets Will reel off a few wins , but its only a tease just like the last 20 years of New York Jets football for me.

It all starts and ends with Mark Sanchez on this one. These next two games will be his moment. If he has a fairly long term memory, he will remember that our team was 4-6 at around this time and made the playoffs. It can happen with us beating the Rams.

It's just not fun being pessimistic. Until there is absolutely no chance, you have to keep the hope alive.

But maybe, I'm just too young (20).

Last season was a train wreck and all the Jets hierarchy saw fit to do was put a fresh new coat of paint on the train and hire a back-up engineer who can't even drive a train.

There are so many problems with this team now, I'd rather see a meeting with the wrecking ball than the post-season. I'm the first person to say we can pull a season out, but, not this time we have a broken train and we're running out of track.

If we beat the rams and get to 4-6 we have a chance. In 2009 we were 4-6 and finished winning 5 of our last 6 and making the playoffs. It's not over, but it's unlikely.

As I said before the season started 6-10 & if that gets us a PO spot TERRIFIC! I think you ought to hunker down in a NYJ bunker because at least the next 5 years will be like watching the worst possible FB U can imagine

The sad faces you keep making are not cute at all. Sheesh, grow a pair.

I bet if we somehow win a SB this year, you're going to still be sad

At this point.. Rex needs to go. I love him as a coach, But he lost the whole team. Unless we cut everyone next year and start a new team. Then these same locker room guy's are gonna talk behind people's back. And matt slauson is a moron. TT is our backup and he should be benched for talking to media about him and TT should have knocked him out.

If there were any evidence whatsoever behind that Manish article you might have a point, but since there isn't it's all speculation and nothing more. BTW Slauson came forward and said that the comments were from the preseason, possibly week 1 at the latest. In retrospect there's absolutely nothing wrong with his comments. Just a hack journalist desperate for ratings, that's all.

As long as Sanchez is starting I have no faith in this season. My faith in him ran out a long time ago – and for good reason.

Why isn't Rex taking this stance? Why isn't he attacking Manish and the media? It would be very simple for him to stick up for his players and claim the anonymous quotes were fabricated to garner attention if he really feels that way. Instead he's saying he told the team hiding behind anonymous quotes is cowardly.

What Rex says in the locker room behind close doors is anybody's guess. But I really wish he would take that stance, but it seems that when you question the media you get frowned upon. The Jets answer questions from the media sarcastically at times and it has made them the most focused and hated on team in the NFL. It's like the standard today that you have to believe what they say, or else you're some crazy conspiracy nutjob with a tin foil hat. That's the only reason articles like this are allowed to be published. I have higher standards than that. I don't believe ANY claim without evidence. So Manish can go fuck himself.
