keep him on D, he is talented, and with mosely gone, we need him for depth there.

We did pick up some cover for Mosely this off-season GJF, Marques Douglas the most notable, we still have Mike DiVito there, and i think we are likely to pick up a DE in the draft, so moving Brown to TE won't have a big effect on our D, put it might have a very good effect on our O.

Douglas is a NT, and will probably batte with Pouha for a rosterspot.

If we move Brown to O, it?ll take him some time to learn everything, he won?t be more than a redzoneblocker, but he could be ready to make an impact for us on D this year. And we still need TE help this year.

Douglas is a DE as well as a NT, he is actually listed on pretty much every site as a DE, and most of the time i have seen him he has lined up at the DE spot.

He already knows the defense, why not play both ways, he wont be starting on D. Any TE we bring in will have to learn the offense as well, Brown will have a head start on all of them as he has already started learning, and we need that big body red zone blocker, this could be the perfect fix.

I mixed up douglas with that other guy, we brought in from Seattle.

It?s not about learing the Offense, it?s about learning how to play on Offense. Running routes, reading defenses on the fly, finding soft zones and all that stuff.

I agree it wont be easy, but it is probably worth a chance of finding a in house fix to a problem.

I read he played TE in high school so the position isn't completely foreign to him.
