You don't trade up in the first round of the draft to light a fire under a player's ass. You take such action when it's clear that your present personnel are not adequate.

If Miller were not such a threat on KOR, I wonder if he'd even be on the squad.

People are quick to say that Miller improved last year- to that I say "mularkey." His tacking at the end of the year was just as poor as the beginning- he can't wrap up. Also, he has to be one of the dumbest guys to ever play the game- bonehead penalties and a big mouth to boot. This guy's present course makes him more of a liability than an asset at CB.

On the depth chart, Miller is nearly at rock bottom, and Poteat is CLEARLY our #2/#3 depending on where Revis falls.

I hear you and agree that he is probably on the lower end of our CB depth chart, but I am just not ready to give up on him..especially if he can develop into a more coachable player...just imagine..and improved MIller alongside Revis....could be the fastest, most hard hitting CB tandem in the league

Believe me, while I bash Miller all the time I'd love to have him succeed while on our squad. The thought of a well-rounded Miller and Revis playing opposite each other, with Rhodes and Coleman/Smith on the other side, would easily make the secondary one of the top 5 in the league- this of course is assuming that Revis pans out, Rhodes has another fantastic year and Coleman/Smith don't suck...
