He was a #3-#4 corner on our team, the fact that he was in there playing man-to-man against some of the league's best was just ridiculous.... What the hell did you expect...?

And, oh by the way, even the great cornerbacks get shown up at the Pro Bowl.... It's a passing frenzy, and the QBs have so much time to throw, that any corner is going to look foolish

DBs aren't allowed to bump in the probowl, so the advantage always goes to the receiver. It's a dog and pony show anyways.

Not that I have much faith in Miller becoming a starter. The probowl is just a bad way to judge any player's ability.

yeah but he was selected to the Pro Bowl as a kick returner not a CB

Exactly. The Pro Bowl is all passing game. Especially with the no blitzing policy, the WR's definetely have the upper hand.

Yeah I don't think many corners would have been able to stop that play.

He looks good in college. In the pros, he just looks lost out there.

Unless Dyson is hurt, Miller will not be starting over him.
Dyson is solid, Miller is inconsistant.
    Just wont happen.

I think Miller will be our 4th string corner at the end of the 2007 season.

True, but there's looking foolish and then there's looking like you don't have a clue what you're doing...

I am glad Miller is on our side. He provides depth at the corner position and serves as a good weapon on special teams. I would not mind him being tried on some offensive pass plays either; there is potential there.

This will be his year on defense. Hopefully Mangini will see his true potential.

He has the physical ability, which leads me to believe that either he's a complete moron and cannot read D's or he just doesn't give a care and doesn't watch any film. If Mangini can't turn him around, no one can. I still have hope for him, but its failing fast.

    i don't understand why there's never a middle ground.

people don't want to consider that maybe he just takes longer to grasp the Defense and transition to the NFL. some guys get it faster than others, and some guys don't get it at all. that doesn't mean Miller is a moron or doesn't care -- maybe he needs more time to comprehend things.

he's still young and has plenty of time. i agree, if Mangini can't tap his potential, then i doubt anyone can; but i think Mangini can do it and will begin to this year.

    cheers
