I don't know about the rest of you but I am rooting for this guy big time and I have been since day 1.

He is Improving (See Colts game).
Let's not forget that the defense may call for playing 5 yards off the receiver or help from a safety and if the offense exposes that it may appear that a CB would get beat. (See Arron Glenn vs Oak)

They guy has incredible skills and may have to improve because of the Speed of the NFL but the bottom line is that he has the skills and just needs to refine them....

barrett has been our no.1 cb for years and he keeps making plays. i dont know if you noticed it but he's hurt and he has been hurt all season, thats why hes sitting on the bench.

look i watch him play every weak, so do the coaches, the journalists etc. and nobody really has confirmed what you just said. your opinion on robertson wont change so it doesnt make sense to talk about him anymore...

well Barrett confirmed that he felt fine and could play; and that was like 2 weeks ago. so i don't know if he's injured or if he's demoted.

    cheers

Like i've said, Miller has been slow to learn...That isn't the case for others. DeAngelo Hall, Dunta Robinson,Rashean Mathis, Travis Daniels, etc. Each grasped their system and have been very good in the league.

Phillip Buchanan and Ahmad Carroll did not grasp their system, could not harness their talent, and ended up being cut. But that was after a few years. Miller could turn out to be them, who knows, but i'm not gonna write off a guy who has made 12 starts, in only his 2nd season like some of you have. Despite Miller showing improvement.

i didn't say anything about a free pass. i said, "patience." yeah, maybe Miller should be benched when he's not performing well. but write the guy off after his 12 start, the first half of his second season in the NFL? doesn't that seem a bit impulsive? hasty? ignorant?

D-Rob has been in the league longer. but guess what? i'm not one of those that says we should get rid of him. fact-check me if you want. i'm of the opinion of trying him out at 3/4 DE along with continuing to teach him NT. but if he doesn't improve, and his knee condition worsens, eventually he'll need to go, or at least take a major paycut.

    cheers

theres a reason why barrett has been limited in practices..besides that mangini is not scared to bench his starters or punish them for whatever reason

who are u kidding the reason he dont play is because he is a bum..barrett said it himself he wasnt hurt. he is our 4th string cb...he is the jmac of the defense.. i think that says alot about our #1 cb lol...funny how because a guy get a few interceptions he all of sudden great.. what about when teams are toasting him for entire drives do you think he is great than?
    just incase u missed it.

barrett has been our starter the last few years and he's been very solid. he makes plays, he can cover and he can tackle. miller doesnt make any plays at all, he cant tackle and he cant cover. thats what seperates barrett from miller. nobody compared barrett to champ bailey...

    in case YOU missed it:

    ITS MILLERS 2nd YEAR!!!!!

The general consensus is WR's take about 3 years to "adjust to the next level". Yet the people covering them should be great right off the bat?

He needs work and is dissappointing for not trying to make more plays on the ball. But is it at all possible he needs more time to develop?

Nah, that cant be it. he sucks

why do u keep saying that.. miller gets us Touchdowns!! thats better than a interception...thats being said we have also seen him force fumbles on defense. antoine winfirld is a top 5 cb in this league he isnt a interception machine.... ty law had 10 picks last year and was still awful last year got beat left and right.. you cant only judge a cb on interceptions.

nobody takes that away from him. he's obviously a good kick returner

you mean he LOST fumbles? because i just looked his stats up and he hasnt forced a fumble in 2 years.

winfield is not a ballhawk thats right, but he's the best tackling CB in the nfl with solid/good cover skills. ty law is not the type of CB he was 5 years ago but at least he made plays for us.

of course he needs more time to develope. robertson needs more time to develope as a NT, do you think the haters in here care about that? not really.

great thing about Miller is he is a hell of a returner so he can contribute very nicely while he learns to play corner...if he cant cover in this league he can always return kicks...overall I like him because of his enthusiasm and his return ability

"DRob" and "dominate" can't be used in the same sentence unless it's his contract talks with Terry Dumbway. THAT is the only time DRob ever dominated anybody.
