McCareins was never starter quality. He was a backup with the Titans and was basically given the starting job here by default.

Hahaha, he totally caught you on your stupidity. Saying the Jets were a mess in a thread about them improving the team, and then using sarcasm to divert attention from your mistake. Brilliant.

When I went to TC on Monday, MisterMoss and myself saw McCariens get open deep, and Ramsey overthrew him by less than a yard. He never even put his hands up for the ball. This is what I saw last year from this guy too. He gives up on balls that a decent WR would at least get dirty trying to catch. The sooner he's gone, the better. This guy is a lazy slacker.

If that what happened?? Reading it, I would have never gotten that impression. Thanks for pointing it out, whatever it is you're trying to say...

Considering the trap you fell into, I wouldn't expect you to understand something that's not incredibly simple.

I know this is 100% hind-sight now but I just looked up what pick the Jets gave up for Jmac and it was the 42nd overall pick. Im not saying what the Jets did was stupid and what were they thinking, because nobody can really tell how good a certin player is going to be in the 2nd round or later but With the 43rd pick the cowboys selected Julius Jones, he wouldnt look soo bad in green and white

This goes back to our letting Coles walk. We ended up lossing a 2nd round pick and Santana Moss for the pleasure of having McCariens on our team.

Who else thinks that J-Mac will have a hard time beating out Tim Dwight for the # 3 job?

Someone would take a shot on J-Mac. No way I'd cut him. But if he can bring something back, then I would look into making a trade.

I know we all hate Bradway, but minus the BT pick Bradway has had some good drafts here. 2004 was one of them.

Bradway was okay in the late rounds. But trading 2 number ones and a 4 for Robertson was downright terrible.

Actually, I just saw all the JMac naysayers together in a white van leaving IHOP.

doesn't make any sense....This is good news for the Jets.....Cotchery is alot better to have in there for more plays as the starter, obviously you don't know enough to comment so you should keep your mouth shut

I agree....cutting him would be stupid, he's good enough to be on our team as the 3 or 4, and we could probably package him for a rb (maybe atlanta or dallas)
