First off, Fields won't be that cheap. You better believe the Bears will play hardball. They will get a late 1st or an early 2nd for Fields, book it.

So if the Jets are even more incredibly stupid than already known they would make this deal.

    Not happening ever.

I don't think that's even real during an ayahuasca vision.

Based on precedent for these QB trades, I don't see any scenario where the Bears can land a 1st.

Maybe not but they'll most likely get a 2nd as I said. Either way the Jets are not in a position to give up any high draft picks for a questionable former 1st round QB.

They have so many other holes to fill that they need all of their draft capital and need to hit on their picks. And Joe Douglas is making the picks so no concerns there. Tongue firmly in cheek

(Dr evil slowly moving his wheelchair close)..........HOW BOUT NOOOOOOOOO

    In all seriousness....
    - Joe douglas is not going to get rid of his qb and then trade for a qb he passed on
    - some team (depending on the coach) probably views him as a starter or a bridge starter
    - i think it is better to have a backup that has a similar style to the starter.
    - and last - the jets have 1st and a 3rd and a bunch of late picks. You cant give up the first 2 cause they have other needs and he isnt getting traded for less then a 3rd.

OVR i do like Fields but i dont like the fit for the Jets.
