The Constitution says he makes it with the advice and consent of the Senate. Scalia will get what he wants. No nominee is getting out of committee, possibly not eve n heard. For those of you who don't really get it..here is what happens. This is an election year, Republicans are defending more seats than dems in the Senate. The Dems are going to lose the White House...almost to a certainty. Obama will liberate, the most liberal, probably minority, probably female candidate he can knowing there is no shot.
