This is why I can't stand Steeler fans - they can't acknowledge that they're the NFL equivalent of Yankee fans. Obnoxious and, while there are real fans in the group, there are TONS of fair-weather fans who know nothing about football. I see it every day here in the Burgh.

For now, the Jets have the best record in the NFL - NOT the Steelers. I may actually pull for the Gay Sharks this weekend.

I have to give a lot of credit to the Miami Dolphins for how they played the Steelers this week. They left everything on the field. I'm honestly not so sure the Jets could have put up that good an effort but let's leave that debate aside for the moment. I'm just amazed that 3 out of the 5 best teams in the NFL this year are out of the AFC East. The fight for the AFC wild card spots is going to be brutal this year.

Clearly Miami was totally outclassed and completely dominated. The Steelers can put a W in the win/loss column the next time the two teams meet, because the Dolphins have absolutely no chance.

How is losing by one point getting destroyed? I thought it was a hard fought, very well played game on both sides and the Dolphins showed a lot as far as whether they can hang with the big boys. Ultimately, if the Jets can keep winning, the Dolphins will probably miss the playoffs this year but they are still top 5 in the NFL overall in my opinion.

The NFL equivalent of the Yankees are the Dallas Cowboys, their fans are all over the country only when they win, Pittsburgh has reason to boast, they have been a dominant team with the occasional losing season sprinkled in between, they have reason for being confident, no different than Rex's attitude about his team.

I still think the Pats will come crashing down eventually. Their team has way too many holes to sustain their pace. Plus with Moss gone, from what I've seen Welker is completely taken out of games now. Their offense is shot.

I 100% agree with this, the Ravens have not been themselves the past couple of weeks or maybe showing what kind of team they truly are.

They nearly lost to a San Diego team that has lost to the Rams, Seahawks and others on their way to 2-5.

The Patriots are almost dead last in pass defense and as you said that will catch up to them as well as their revamped offense.

I disagree. They have a talented young team that is only going to get better. And I can't tell you how many countless Patriots games I have watched that they should not have won and then won. It's the Patriots way. They aren't going to stop winning and, because of that, every game for the Jets is huge this year.

And with all the draft picks they have comin up this team will continue to be good for quite a while. We just have to keep pace with them and hopefully not loose alot of our talent at the end of the year.

Dolphins are far from a top 5 NFL team. Far far away. I don't even think they are in the top 5 in the AFC alone. Jets, Patriots, Steelers, Colts, Ravens, Titans, and even the Chiefs to name a few that are playing better football right now.

Pats won't be going away. Week to week they are improving. If we want this division we are going to need 12 wins maybe more in my opinion.

If the dolphins were in the NFC they would be #2 behind the falcons and in front of Philly

The Steelers did not play well against Miami. The opening kickoff got fumbled away, luckily our D didn't even let Miami get a first down.

Second drive, Big Ben for some reason tries to "pass" the ball but instead fumbles it and Miami again gets the ball. Luckily our D held them to a FG again.

At the end of the first half, near field goal range, the Steelers caleld an end around got knocked back and didn't even try a hail mary. Probably left points on the board.

Our running game looked like total crap, and despite the obvious weaknesses we could have exploited in the Fins secondary, our genius O-coordinator chose to balance things out.

Of course the final act of stupidity was the fumble Ben should have probably lost which could easily have iced the game for Miami.

The Steelers hardly played their best game, but they did just enough to win by stopping those two early turnovers from turning into 14 points. That was the reason they won.
