Guys thanks for the great laugh, I really need it today..... An just a small suggestion when dealing with any customer service person , rule one....you get a lot further with honey then you do with shit, Even if it's not going your way. they are all people too. If you ever feel you are getting the run around ask for a supervisor right there an then and go from there.... In this case I would have Thanked who ever was dealing with me, GET A NAME, and been on the phone to the Jets business office. You can take it to the bank the problem would have been resolved very quickly. After all, these folks represent the NYJets and are a money making arm of the company. Learn how to use the system and avoid many headaches and don't be stupid enough to buy $700 dollar jeans...
still waiting for the jersey, I got my money reedemed but they are supposed to send another one. Unfucking real that this is over a month old since I placed my order.
I told her you were an asshole and to keep fucking with you all year. I sent her a link to this thread too and she was not amused to say the least. Shit has only just begun.
I ordered my jersey from Jets Shop back on July 5th and I still haven't gotten it yet. It turns out with the transition over to Lids my jersey was never made so now I've been on the phone with them virtually everyday for the last 3 weeks to make sure they deliver it before I leave for New York for Sunday's game. Supposedly it shipped yesterday (I'll keep you posted). The frontline representatives aren't that helpful and never call you back as promised. The two supervisors I spoke to were actually helpful, even though the second one only took ownership after I asked for the corporate office phone number...which they still haven't given me. EDIT: So my jersey actually arrived today and it's awesome, the cut is a little smaller than my other authentic jersey that I bought back in 2007 but that's actually a good thing as I'm only 5'10" 173lbs.
