You were a class act, a smart quarterback and a team first guy. It will feel funny not seeing you on our roster anymore, but perhaps a fresh start is just what you and your family needed. Best of luck, buddy...

I only read the first two pages. But its kind of sad to see so many posters with only negative things to say about Chad in his apreciation thread.

This is not the place to be an ignorant or selfish fan. If you dont have anything good to say in this thread then stay out of it.

As for myself I bid Chad a warm farwell and thank you. There were times I felt like he was our Joe Montana. I believed in him for many years and watched him play like a winner on teams that could best be described as over achievers talent wise. Good luck bro.

Yeah, you should PM one of the mods and tell them something to change it to.

Thank you for being a great leader and a great guy, Chad. You put it on the line for us a lot. I may not have liked the results, but you gave me some very good memories. Good luck.

For a franchise with a rich history in miserable QB's, for a few years, he was a real bright spot. Thanks for everything, Chad. You're truly one of the classiest Jets to wear the green and white.

Chad, Thanks for all your effort you've given this team. I know you didn't get the respect from all of the jetnation, but I did appreciate what you brought to the team and organization. Good Luck Penny, wish you the best!!!

Pennington left the Jets with the most starts in Jets postseason history and a 65.6 career completion percentage which ranks best all-time.

Good luck brotha!!! And with that said, this is the return of the Jtrain

great jet....Completely unappreciated, I hope he goes to a team where management support him allot more than the scumbags in the jet front office have...

I wish Chad the best of luck where ever he lands. He was and will always be a "true JET" and the ultimate team player to me. I'm saddened that he's leaving.

I will forever remember Chad for that fake give to curtis martin and go the other and JUKE the Bills defender and break his ankles to run in for a Touchdown.

The best chad pennington play ever

Good luck Chad. Thanks for some good times. You are a class act. A loyal teammate with guts, determination and drive who gave it everything you had each and every day. Can't ask for anything more than that. Best of luck with your new team.
