I'm wondering how a big ass specially created dinosaur managed to evade monitoring while causing devastation throughout the park.

I personally can't wait. Love the original. Lost World has it's moments. 3 is trash.

They had enough time to deliver a solid movie. It should be fun. It's just cool to see Jurassic Park back on the big screen.

I'll see it but I couldn't help but realize how bad the dialogue is.

Pratt says something in the trailer like "this dinosaur is highly intelligent, and will kill anything that moves."

That sounds like a dinosaur that isn't very intelligent at all. But I do like the hybrid dino's name, Diabolus Rex. Very badass.

It's a nod to "clever girl" from the first movie/internet meme.

I highly doubt that. This aims to be a serious movie, it's just bad dialogue.

HUGE Weekend for Jurassic World. I just read it will make over $200 million.

I saw it and it is a mindless, popcorn flick, but I still had a fun time. What did you guys think?

Agreed, mindless...It was not much too it. But they finally made a decent sequel to the original. I predicted the ending and I liked how they handled it, overall fun film.

Kids and people will like it. It was jam packed out there...Felt like the 90's again with the buzz...Doesn't hurt that the film got good reviews

They had a paleontologist from Drexel University on the news the other night. They found the remains of the dinosuar in the trailer who eats the shark whole in, are ready for this?' New Jersey lol This sea dino had some teeth that were backwards to hold prey in. Seems they have alot of remains there.

If this is a Spielburg film cant dis the great one.

It's not directed by Spielberg, just produced, the director is some unknown named Colin Trevorrow

My gf is making me go see this tonight, which I'm fine with. I want to see it anyway. I just wasn't planning on going to the theater. I never go to theaters.

    I'll give my opinion later.

Saw this yesterday. It was another OK summertime movie reboot. Not as good as the originals IMO. Lots of CGI backing a decent if not great storyline. It reminded me of Jurrasic II when TRex rampaged thru LA. Again, if your seeking cinematic excellence, skip this movie until you can either d/l or stream it. You wanna be entertained on a hot weekend afternoon, you could do worse than this movie.

Definitely a good popcorn flick. A few elements were definitely fan service, but nothing completely ridiculous. Factoring in nostalgia, I'd say that Jurassic World was on par or better than 2 and 3. Definitely not as good as the original though.

Probably a combination of the hype behind it and the nostalgia for the first movie, at one point on Thursday there were 4 channels playing Jurassic Park simultaneously. Great marketing for a run of the mill movie.

Speaking of which, one channel had THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK on yesterday so I watched it. Better than I remembered as a kid. I remember being bored out of my mind in the theater, but it was okay watching 18 years later.

First movie I went to in over 3 years.. not really my decision though..

It was good, but not amazing. I think it'll end up a top 5 movie of the year, but a fringe top 5.
