the way I look at the article is this: there's a reason why JP Losman is in the NFL and this guy is behind a desk making up "scientific" garbage to talk about him

The funny part is that he's just using stats. Doesn't seem like alchemy. People do it here all day long!

I think that's the sad part, actually. He's using stats from 2 seasons ago to justify his moron article. I would rather take a look at our unknowns than take a chance at a known loser. Plus, he's gay. I think we stand a pretty good chance at having heterosexual quarterbacks right now.

Maybe the JP stands for Jonesin' for Peter

Wait, I think I have a better one....

I guess he won't be coming to play for the Jets then. Bryan Cox doesn't work there anymore.

    OK, last one for real....

Maybe he and Jericho's Crotchery will hook up in the end-zone fairly regularly, then.

    I lied...

Maybe he wants to get Stucky on Bubba's Frank

No, He isn't. Losman is no longer a Prospect. He is a known commodity. Like Chad Pennington. Without the resume.

Joyners article misses the obvious flaw in his thinking.

Losman can't manage a game he needs to go downfield.

November and December make that a sketchy proposition.

He might be a suitable replacement in Tampa... or Minnesota where he gets 10 games in a dome.

What has this board been smoking lately? I'll tell you what, we start JP Loser you guys will know what its like to truely suck. He has no accuracy, he singlehandedly handed the Jets the last game they played... And people rather trust this guy over Kellen Clemens, who only had 8 games to prove himself, not several seasons. I'd probably even take Leftwich over him, but I'd rather let them start Clemens already.

If we were going ignore Lossman's horrible game management because he can throw a deep ball, why not just sign Rex Grossman? At least Rexy has won a few games in his career--Lossman's been an unequivocal failure. I'm not spelling his name "loss" by accident.

*note: I in no way endorse Grossman as the Jets next QB. Just pointing out how random and stupid the idea of JP in NY would be.

I hate Losman, but on the other hand i hate Leftwich, Anderson, and the other "possible" free agent qb's that people want on this team. But i wouldnt mind seeing Losman signed for cheap money, and i mean cheap money. His contract should have nearly no impact on our salary cap. Let him compete. The guy has a cannon of an arm, i kinda like the idea of Clowney burning db's with a bomb throw from Losman for a td. Buffalo wanted dink and dunk, thats not happening when your qb has a arm like that. Plus he shows good mobility. Ehhhh i hate him but who knows, he could be good in a run first offense.

I love how everyone shoots down losman or any other qb mentioned except for leftwich. I'm sorry do we have a tom brady on our roster I didn't know about? no. We have clemens and ratliff.

No one on this board can say either one of these guys have it. Why would leftwich be your only choice? Losman has a better release, stronger arm and better mobility. I thinks most of it is because he plays for a div rival.

I do not like losman and don't really want to see him here. however, if he is the qb who can get us more wins, I can back that. If he can play better than our current qbs behind center, why be against it? He's still pretty young.

And the fumble everyone knocks him for was more the bills cs fault than his. They had no business calling anything except a run on that play.
