He lied to his coaches face. And asked his friends to lie. It's a trust issue--not a douchebag issue. You can be the leader of your team and be a partying douchebag--IF you have some gravitas behind you. He doesn't have that yet so he's on thin ice. If he partied and came back an apologized and swore up and down it was no big deal, maybe he gets off with another stern warning. He looked the coach in the eye and lied to him That's a WHOLE nother issue. _ _
Very true, however, least we forget that he straight up lied to his head coach about the video. Yesterday, I found a glass full of milk spilled on the ground in the kitchen. My son, who I'd just poured the milk for looked me dead in my eyes, and lied, that he didn't do it. Guess what.....he's 3 years old. Mr. Manziel lied, to his coach, just like a little kid. Dude should have been cut. How many TMZ videos have you seen of Andrew Luck, Russel Wilson, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton or any other young "face of the franchise QB?" since they got drafted???
