I'm still glad we got Darnold and I think he's a better bet to be a better pro but pre-trade I was really hoping to get Josh Allen. Some of those throws, combined with some of that athleticism yesterday. You can throw out his numbers too. He was 3X better. Some of those throws you could literally see the impact where the ball hit Benjamin square in the numbers like a missile and then just clunked off as he just failed to catch it. I also believed pre draft and still do that he and Darnold are the best kids in the class and to me that counts for something. Darnold and Allen are the ones you want in the proverbial foxhole with you. Not the other two.
