Williams isn’t in the same ballpark as Clowney.

In terms of generating pressure and not getting sacks, they are very similar. Both are great run defenders.

I agree with your overall point yes, but Clowney is just better in every way.

Boozer does know football however he doesn't know Clowney.

Clowney is able to rush quarterbacks better than any Jets DE/OLB dating back to John Abraham but he's even better against the run as he's an absolute monster against the run and one of the very best run stopping OLB's within the game today.

Jadeveon Clowney instantly becomes the most talented, most productive and best OLB the Jets have ever featured dating back to John Abraham and it's not even debatable.

I would hope so. Jordan Jenkins has been our most consistent presence on the edge for 3 yrs now. Not stellar, but solid. That has to be worth something.

I think he's hoping for a big 2020 (cha ching!!!). If his arrow is pointing up in Gregg's defense (2nd yr) he may hold out hope for the 2021 FA market. He'll never get what he's dreaming about from JoeD.

If the jets had drafted clowney 1 overall he would be the face of the jets draft blooper reel with his lack of sacks.
Some here would say he looks fat and criticize his haircut

The guy is about to be on his third team potentially at age 27. No red flags at all?

Hey, don’t forget, it’s all about hidden production!

Coming from you its like the pot calling the kettle black. Clowney has 172 tackles in in 6 years Jordan has 157 in 4 years. Clowney has 32 sacks in 6 years and Jordan has 20.5. Looks like the Jets are getting more production for their dollars and Clowney hasn't signed anywhere yet. Glad you aren't the GM.

Well then what else is wrong with him then? Because these so call studs don't get traded or hit the streets alot. Houston dumped him onto Seattle. They knew J.J Watt was a more well rounded player and better teammate. But you keep looking at those QB pressuring stats while Watts is putting the QB's down and being gameplan for and also playing the run.

Wow he’s not as good as JJ Watt, one of the best players of all time? He must suck! Seattle offered him $18 million, he’s just holding our for $20. I think Houston needed the cap space but I could care less why they got rid of him. He’s a great player.

I’m sure glad as shit our GM doesn’t sign players based on how many tackles they have.

Right, because Jets fans are fucking dumb. He’s an elite level defensive player.

Its obvious he's going off of some stats. He sure can't be using sacks with any Jets lineman. Every year they draft a defensive lineman and they still suck. I mean how awful do you have to be to get it wrong every year. Except for Adams. Last year they took an idiot that might be going to jail for bringing a gun to an airport in New York. Even before that he looked like Tarzan played like Jane.

Great player lol. He'll be on his 3rd team soon. Just glad it won't be the Jets. I've lived in Houston they are glad he's gone. They were fed up with disappointment. He sure ain't worth 20 million.

No way. We'd consider him our best OLB dating back to John Abraham. The player you're describing is Vernon Gholston; non comparable.

Come on Boozer. Randy Moss played for 5 teams and the Patriots were his 3rd team and he was greatness. And Curtis Martin player for two teams. Playing for multiple teams does not diminish a players playing level; he'd become a great Jet with Gregg Williams utilizing and outright unleashing him.

Randy Moss was great and the stats showed it. There was no "hidden production" or taking games off. Clowney isn't anywhere near that level and never will be. Moss is a hall of Famer, Clowney won't even sniff the hot. HUGE difference.
