Agreed we are not 'winners'. Part of the reason the Pats get hometown discounts was because they won, but even they have a bit of a crack in the armour. You are never going to get everyone you go after - not even the 'winners'. We got Chatham,Dwight, the guy from Pitt,Barton in the recent past, etc. Maybe not marquee players, but in the end you want guys to come here for the right reasons. If the Jets show up next year, then maybe that's another variable in their favor.

In an era where us fans kill players for always running where the money is, you are sicken at the fact that a player accepted less money to play for his orginal team. Then you take a pop shot and call the Jets losers.

The fact of the matter is, Jon Runyan, who is overated in my book, was a stop gap player who was not going to take us to the next level anyway..............

Then you deal with the things that are under your control and you move on. This league isn't a fucking popularity contest.

If you feel that way, find another team to root for that will not be so humiliating for you. It would be far better than your rants.

He was never given an offer wise ass. All the media outlets reported that he left New York without an offer. Nice to see you keep up on your current events...

What kind of post is this? What the hell is going on around this site? Why do people have to use the words "mentally challenged"...or "idiot". I see this more and more around here...its like mentally challenged wont get me banned...but if I call you a fuc#$# jerkoff...that will get me banned.

1028...who is beating me in the bullshit bowl (just to show no hard feelings..lol) makes a comment without calling this guy a name..and this is the return post?

Whats wrong with just saying "I totally disagree with you". People are getting banned left and right around here...but guys like you find your little ways of getting around it because calling someone retarded isnt that bad.

As far as you going off the deep end....Runyan lives about 15-20 minutes away and is in the twilight of his career. Why would he want to go into a rebuilding program. Did he use us? Probably....but who cares. You never know unless you try. At least they gave it a shot...which is not good enough...but this was an uphill battle from the beginning..and he was the best tackle available...would you have felt better if MT just came out and said "he probably wont come here...so Im not going to even try".

Are the giants losers because they didnt get KJ? We can name hundreds of players that will visit a team and go elsewhere.....especially back home.

See? Didnt even call you retarded.

Yeah...The name calling around here is "out of control"....A regular kiddie-land here.:breakdance:

Anyway....I'm glad Jets' didn't sign this guy......They already have a "Pete Kendall & Tom Nutten.....guys ready to retire.

Jets' were willing to spend alot of money on an aging vet.....A real no-no.
Now if Runyan was in his 20's, I can see Jets' spending abit of cash, but on an old bum like Runyan......PLEASE...NOT....

So.....Runyan blessed the Jets' by not signing here...& to that ...I say thank you...

but you have to understand, for the amount of shit that gets posted on here, it's human nature for people to finally snap and start just being pissed off about it and just start laying the facts out blatantly (so well maybe that's construed a bit, as you know people aren't exactly that, its just some posts and threads are really, really, REALLY, stupid..)

Oh no. We didn't get Jon Runyan, this must mean we're losers. Honestly, this may be one of the lamest posts I've seen.

 This should be the standard response to these nub threads. Yes, I said NUB, the original poster of this thread is a NUB. NUBNUBNUB.

TY GM...I would rather someone call me a flat out f#$#head...then beat around the bush and question whether or not I should post because Im mentally challenged.

As far as some guys "snapping" as an above poster put it....come on....just tell someone they are totally off base...or not on the right track...mentally challenged is way overboard.

I didnt want to start a thread about this...its just that the last couple weeks, maybe longer...I dont know...I just see no difference in name calling whether its cursing...or questioning whether or not someone has the brain power to post.

I think you would find Nutten on the Rams roster not the NYJ roster

Pop shot? Come now when was the last time the NYJs won a championship? I believe that is what Dorow was alluding to & in some ways he does have a point since we have been incompetant for years & years & years which is why we are what we are.

H'mmm let me ask you when was the last time we won a championship? Your reply will say it all that needs to be said about this franchise since that date.

Well A few years ago it was someone from the Bills who choose the Vikes over us cause his wife supposely disliked LI. I agree with U that Runyon was using us & it appeared our FO allowed that to happen. If you look though at JR decision & apply some common sense his best chance of winning a SB before his career is over is with the Eagles not us which I am sure he factored into his final decision.
