We weren't going to start him. Baker's the man and I'm almost certain Dreessen's in there in 2-TE sets, so bon voyage, Jolley and take what you can get.

Baker's the smallest man ever then. This guy better have a good year or I want him out. I'm sick of average to below average TE's.

    I personally won't miss him.

How could I? he never did anything for us! Well except that personal foul last week, but that was really for the Giants! Good riddence!

This is Baker's year. He came in behind Becht and then had to live in the shadow of Jolley. Both of them are gone and it's his time now. I think he's up for it now.... he's really had to bide his time. I really like the combination of Baker and Dreessen. I think Tangini did okay with this. Discard what you're not going to use and get SOMETHING for it, unlike the Lamont Jordan fiasco (well.. we did get a compensatory pick), but that situation had me talking to myself after we had been flat-out offered a #4 and probably could have gotten a #3 if we played our cards right.

But oh no... Herm had to destroy the crap out of CM by running his wheels off, while Jordan warmed the bench.

I like Baker as much as the next guy, but if his supposed breakout year before injury is 18 catches in 8 games, he might just be a bit overrated.

The saddest thing about this is the big picture. The JETS essentially traded their 1st rd pick for a kicker and a dude who is already off the team........ Good call Bradway :drunk: :shit:

    Sean Fu*kin' Ryan????

Sean Ryan has started 2 games since he was drafted by Dallas in 2004. You knnow how many catches he has in his carrer? ZERO!! His only stat is 1 Fucking tackle. What the fuck does Man-gina see that the rest of the world doesn't?

He is probably being brought in mainly as a blocking TE... And I'm willing to bet he is a better blocker than Jolley.

thank god jolley is gone, not only does he suck really bad, but on the rare occasions that he did actually catch a pass, it just pissed me off reminding me of that sh*tty bradway trade.

mangini was just gonna cut him anyway, at least we got something for him.

Ryan will hopefully block all the time and hopefully Mangini doesnt use him like Herm, who always thought Baker was the reincarnation of Antonio Gates.
