Seems like Elway didn't like how things with the team were handled on and off the field. It'll be interesting to see who he chooses.
It was clear Manning was beat up down the stretch. Why not rest him? Fox was directly responsible for their end of season failures.
Saw this one coming a mile away. They are leaving open the possibility of a Peyton return (and a reload of key personnel). If that happens, you have to change the coach to try to mix things up. Fox just never did anything well as the Broncos coach. He lucked into Manning as his QB, and then didn't get enough out of the rosters he had. This is the same guy who took a knee and accepted OT against the Ravens instead of taking a chance with Peyton, 30 seconds, and 2 TOs left. I was very surprised he wasn't fired after that loss and then they sort of had to keep him after he made the SB last season. He was in place before Peyton so he was always sort of a lame duck coach once Peyton got there because he was not hired to lead that caliber of a team. Jets stay far away, he's a mediocre game coach and we don't have a Peyton on our roster.
He didnt have his teams prepared. Like when Moore let Jones get by him, how does that happen? and then of course the Super Bowl where the Seahawks players even said that they were scared n crap.
