John Abraham is one hell of a DEnd, but you guys are over estimating what we can get for him. Every team knows that we can't afford to keep him around this year. I highly doubt that we can get a 1st round pick for him even though he is worth it.
redskins out of the running for Abraham. redskins out of the running for Abraham. They are giving Andre carter an average of $5mil per year.
Redskins got Carter, Eagles got Howard... Im thinking these teams decided to move on because it became apparent that Abraham is going to Denver. Or the Jets are asking for too much. Because Abraham is a far better player than either of those guys.
I bet, soon Abraham camp start bitching about him not traded. I know they are on their tour right now. But, If Abraham is still a J-E-T at the end of the week, they are going to start complaining the J-E-T-S are purposely trying to keep him until the money dry up.
Whatever we get for him will be going into the pot to move up to #2 overall (just speculation on my part)
OK, great message, and as for your signature, is that form a Chuck Norris Joke? I read an email with about 3000 Chuck Norris jokes, and that was one of them. Very nice work my friend.
yeah, its nice how he stole a joke off of a website and made it his own.... btw it probably came off of www.chucknorrisquotes.com, or the many other knock off fan write in chuck norris "quotes" sites edit: hmm the sites down currently...anyway here's a knock off fan submit site http://4q.cc/index.php?pid=top100&person=chuck
They really have nothing to offer us. They have no 1st rounder. Screw them I wouldnt want to help them after they snubbed us of all of our players 3 years ago.
if no team is willing to fork over a first rounder. just lay down a deal for abe. since we arent expected to make a big signing in free agency it would make sense to sign abe to a deal. just lay down a reasonable long term deal.
It was a mess, but then the cap jumped by $8 million after both sides agreed to a new CBA. The Deadskins keep giving guys backloaded contracts, as always. Backloading contracts and trading away future draft picks since 1999...
