I preferred Porter to Adalius thomas a few years ago(when we were rumored to get Thomas), he turned out to be better in Miami than Thomas in NE but both had short stays in their new homes.

I think Porter would be great for a year, he'd be motivated and we need a pass rusher but I don't see it happening.

The only good thing about this is that the Dolphins still suck and maybe Porter goes to a team that'll pass on Graham.

I wouldn't even want this punk as security in a casino. He may hit unarmed patrons when they are not looking and have his friends kick them when they are done.

He is a punk locker room cancer. A typical sign this beast thread.............

Is this objective, or are you still mad about that night he took you down to the beach after meeting up at Twist...and never called you afterwards?

the talent gap between thomas and porter is no where near large enough to even consider looking at him.

Porter can still rush the passer, Thomas can't.

I don't know if we should pursue him or not but it's foolish to dismiss the idea when our biggest need on D is a passrusher.

porter is better than thomas... but not by a wide enough margin that dealing with him being a douche in a year and a half is worth it.

This site should have a little subform during the offseason. For free agents and shit.

Im not a fan of Porter persay, but being that its an uncapped year if we signed him to a 1 year contract just to see how he performs in our system I dont see how anybody could object to that.

Worst case scenario he stinks and is never to be heard of in NY again, best case scenario hes highly motivated and performs like an absolute monster and helps us go to the promised land.

Seems like the pros outway the cons a bit on this one .

And he could maybe mentor Gholston and teach him how to be a man

That said I thought this guy hated the NYJ ?

Im sure someone posted this already but just saw this figured id link it

Could you imagine taking too much time in line in front of Joey Porter at a bank or a Starbucks? I, for one, fear the day he actually retires and is released into society at large.

Bleacher report just says why hed be a good fit.

And Sanchez did almost throw away the season. Remember the Falcons game which Sanchez had 3 picks. That almost ended the season. Fortunately Sanchez turned it around the next couple of weeks
