They didn't show it on camera, but about two or three plays prior to his "Sanchez Special", we were on the Pat's 32 and Sanchez dumped one off to Greene for 6 yards. Collingsworth mentioned that Hill had beaten Talib on a double move and was open for a TD but Sanchez didn't see him. So we didn't cash in, and 2 plays later, Mr. Reliable is throwing one to the safety. One of those things that doesn't show up in the stats , but happens over and over with Sanchez. There's no way to quantify how many points he costs us in a season and I have no doubt he's the reason why Hill hasn't had a better rookie year. I doubt anyone would remember, but very early in the Giant game last year, Mcknight was split out wide to the left and streaking down the sideline all alone but Sanchez threw it over his head out of bounds ... Much like Cromartie in the Texans game this year. I'm all for giving McKnight a few snaps as WR.
Another pathetic attempt to do something with mcknight.. Why not let him play). Lol crazy me.. This is incredible
Didn't attend the Dolphins game but I did go to the Jets/Pats game & it was pretty bad for Mark. Hill wasn't open every play but he did beat the defense more than once (when the game was competitive & Mark had time to throw). After the Greene dumpoff it seemed like the entire stadium was groaning when Sanchez didn't bother with Hill for the TD. Pats fans groaning on how they got lucky & Jets fans groaning on why Sanchez didn't see Hill. ==== Back to McKnight: I really don't like all this moving around they keep doing with him. Greene is gonna be a FA & there's very good chance he won't come back. Powell has looked decent and might be able to work in a RB combo. Before a top pick is used on RB, let's give McKnight some snaps there & see what he's got.
I have no issue with this at all. He's made a few good plays in the passing game already, and then (like always) Morano just stops doing whatever is working. If this gets both Mcknight and Powell on the field at the same time I think it's a great idea.
