Kyle is playing on a better team and will be learning from guys like Revis and Cromartie. He'll have the better career by far.
It's a slightly weird story. Kind of sounds like Rob told Rex that Harden sucks and Rex told Lombardi.
Vernon Gholston vs Derrick Harvey, reports are Ghost and Harvey had a workout competition in lake placid. Involved push ups, situps, and pull ups. It was extremely competitive
Did you post this as a Wilson supporter or Hater? He sacked the QB, well no one was within 5 yards of him he damn well better knock the shit out of him. I did not like those clips. lol
perfect timing on that blitz at :33 even though there were no blockers, but he timed that snapped perfectly this Jets defense may not have an amazing DE pass rushing specialist, but now we have a guy with long dreads. That is a huge missing piece on this d.
If that was at all a determining factor then the three best CBs in the league wouldn't be there (Revis, Asomugha, Woodson). They all were raised with nothing special on the roster (unless you really like Eric Allen).
It's one game, he can't have an interception every game. It's not like they made a Kyle Wilson highlight reel and it didn't have a single interception. It's like my Sanchez videos from early last year with every throw in it. Some good, some bad, some in between.
Haden was the best rated corner going into the draft, even with his slow 40 time. Haden's stock did take a fall and I was surprised he was drafted very early in Rd 1, there were better players (value), like Earl Thomas, when the Brown's were OTC. Round 1 is mostly based on a Teams need and quite a few teams ahead of the Jets weren't interested in drafting a CB in Round 1. 3 things happened for Wilson to be available: The Texan's drafted Kareem Jackson......a real surprise, a poor value at #20, with Wilson and McCourty still OTC! Baltimore traded out with Denver. If this trade didn't happen...Kyle Wilson would be a Raven. Pat's take McCourty. If New England took Wilson, I believe McCourty would be a New York Jet...which was my Jet's RD 1 choice going into the draft. I never imagined Wilson would be available at #29. Awesome selection!!! The Jets were very fortunate Wilson fell to them, I'm a little surprise Tanny showed patience, not his strong suit. Wilson and McCourty being available so late gave Tanny a couple of CB options.
It's one thing to play outside, but it's another to play in the slot. I want to see him play there first before I annoint him. That said, I still feel comfortable if Revis holds out because I know Mr. Wilson is more than capable playing man. Slot's really the only ?
Haden has played up to his draft position so far this year. KW looks mediocre at best. I have faith that KW will come around eventually but the Haden pick was the right one by the Browns.
