Yes, but even the bigger problem is that JD fucked Sam the year before by giving him the worst supporting cast in the NFL history. Even worse than little he had before. No one could have succeeded in that environment. JD really fucked us in a major way. We literally had the best QB in the team's history since Namath, and he ruined then traded him. Maybe if he gave him some weapons and protected him, Sam could have actually taken a step forward his 3d year. As bad as Gase was, Sam was in fact progressing. If JD gave him more instead of removing what little he already had, maybe Sam would have progressed more to the point where we would have been in position to further build around him. And with MILF coming in as a coach Sam could have continued his development. Things could have been very different even with Saleh and MILF if JD were not the worst GM in Jets history. Starting with that 3d year of Sam, when he was just 22. Now we are going to root for him in SB, but if JD didn't fuck up, it could have been us if not in SB at least with a good QB. Fuck JD.
