This is great news. Someones gotta step up: lowery, ihedigbo, smith.. I hope miscommunication won't be a problem.
hes not healthy and he doesnt have better nummbers ... the avgs are 9.1 to 8.6 in favor of cotch but those are skewed because holmes has 6 fumbles to cotches 2 (4/6 of which were during his rookie year) holmes has at least 6 returns of 20+ yards and 1 of 40+ yards (plus at least one 60+ yarder in the playoffs) while cotch has one 20+ yard return
NESN.com reported he's out for season, I was only speculating when I said it'll probably carry over into next year. EDIT: They actually have a misleading thread titel...title says Out for Season...in the context it says "Possibly Out for Season" So I guess it's not official, I don't want to assume anything but the way people are reporting it it sounds like it will be.
motherfucker. I wish I could be more positive about this, but this is a serious blow. Freak accidents at practice? That hurts the most. It just fucking stings.
NESN is speculating that he may be out for the season. Nothing is official, even if that's what it sounds like.
Mods can change the title of the thread if he is truly out for the year, which it seems like he is. I'm pretty bummed about this short, 5'8, kinda slow, white guy being OUT. Shows the kind of heart, leadership, and intelligence he has.
never effin fails y couldnt i be born a colt or steeler fan or something else!!F@K never the less ill still be hopin 4 a can of ass whip on monday!! If anyone can do it its rex !!
WOW. that sucks. I think well be ok without. I think it was a bigger deal when we lost jenkins for the year (2009), but devito and pouha stepped up. I just feel bad for leonhard, itll be hard watching us at the superbowl, knowing he was such a big part of the team
Wonder if this Is similar to the Leon Washington injury? As for punts I don't want to see Holmes back there. Hopefully cotchery can handle it
it's not just Leonhard's play we're gonna miss....he relays the defensive plays and puts people in position. Covering Hernandez and Gronkowski just became a little more of a challenge.
