Keep in mind athletes take a lot less to heal... they work on it 24/7 and have the best trainers to work with.

Leon's injury was something a normal guy would take more than a year to heal... he was back playing football in august (way less than a year).

Damn, not that Leonhard was having a great season, but he really is one of the most underrated players on the D. Our weakness at safety is now more exposed, any good veterans available? How about Dwight Lowery, wouldn't he be a good option at safety?

Lowery is expected to be back and playing.

The last thing to do is get an available veteran 3 days from the gameday.

Lowery and Smith will fill in

Tough news on Leonard. Fractured Tib is a big deal. He's gone for the season including the playoffs I would think.

Ihedigbo !!!! Time to Rock !

I always thought Ihedigbo deserved more playing time, but after further review, his role is just fine. He comes in to blitz, and does a damn good job at it. Starting though at safety, I don't think it would work out, unless it gets heavy attention in practice.

Point is there is a flaw in the logic that just because someone is undrafted they will not be a decent of great player. Plenty of undrafted players are starting now. Not saying warren will be a star just pointing out poor logic. Lol by that logic just because a guy is drafted he should be a lock then huh? Look fact is that drafts don't all go by talent. There is a lot to take into consideration as well. How much time a team spends scouting a guy is a big part of it too.

Are the Jets practicing tommorow, or they heading to New England?

Why so much concern foe, Pool? I'm more worried about SMITH being a starter. :/

I don't think its going to be the drop off people are making it out to be. Smith and Leonhard are basically the same player except Smith's a bigger.

For every 50 UDFAs, one starts. For every 100, one goes to the pro bowl.

Let's not get this shit twisted. And this is a foolish argument to have. Warren went undrafted because he had little upside.

Do we really have to begin this debate with which school people come from, if they were a UDFA developmental project, and how many of these prospects were total misses and ready to go once they were signed with a team?

There is no time or place for this debate. Warren went undrafted for a reason and is now without a team.
