hahahahahaha He might as well give his dreads to Cro so that we have a talented player with dreads because that's the mark of a real football team.
This is the shit that is worrying me. We were having a hell of a time with this area before the injury.
I hear you man. Any starter missing a game is big. The funny thing is even for all the back and forth that the Jets don't have a lot of depth (especially in regards to not having big drafts), they actually have decent depth. Well at least now is the time to test if the Jets have decent depth or not. Pool has to step up....
Its all Rex. Which is why I metaphorically blow the man. (emphasis on metaphorically) His scheme is why this team can lose players and yet production doesn't dip. The Jets beat all 3 division rivals without Revis. They are undefeated without their best player. Initially I was worried about this, but once rationality returns and the sadness goes away, I realize that this team won't be fucked now that Leonhard is out. Someone will step up. My money is on Lowery coming back, because the defense hasn't closed out a game since he's been out. The closer has returned.
I'm not worried. I'm not saying it doesn't hurt us in any way, but it does seem like we play better when guys are out with injury/suspension whatever. Eric Smith will get the job done. Do you think we see Lowery come in at all to play some safety?
How many times has the Ravens D filled in for a much better safety? This is nothing compared to that, especially with Rex leading the way. Now that the news has settled in I'm more rational. No worries, still got this no problemo
Every team has to deal with this kind of thing ... just the way it goes in the NFL. Guys will just have to step up like they did when Revis was out. Mostly I feel bad for Leonhard, because it sounds like he'll miss our Superbowl run and that sucks for him. Let's face it ... The Pats were going to score on us anyway ... with or without him. To me this whole game is about our offense putting up 30 or more ... and I'm very confident we'll do that.
I know he's a part of the rotation. It's just I don't recall seeing him on the field since that pick 6 to seal the game against the Vikings.
