Jeudy accomplished with 2 other threats opposite him on the field. Lamb didn't have another threat opposite him like Jeudy did. Being able to high point the ball, having quick feet, great vision, agility, and quickness are all skills that translate well to the NFL. There is little or no doubt about either one, but Lamb is every bit the prospect that Jeudy is.
On the other hand, Lamb also played in a conference that was a track meet every game. Like you said though, they are both great prospects.
Not true. CD Lamb played with Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown on the opposite side of him. Brown is better than anyone Jeudy played with
It depends if we re-sign Robby Anderson or not. If we bring back a speed demon in Robby? Then Jeudy is the perfect compliment as an elite route runner opposite of Anderson. If Anderson walks as a FA? Then I want Lamb as an explosive outside #1 WR. I hope we re-sign Robby and then draft Jeudy.
I like Ruggs he has an extra gear. If the Jets can trade down a few spots and still grab him that would be a bonus. All contingent on what they do with Anderson of course.
You would take Ruggs who had like only 40 receptions over a Jeudy his teammate who had almost 80 receptions this past season? Insane. Ruggs reminds me of a Stephen Hill. Super fast with a limited amount of catches coming out... No thank you on Ruggs lol
"Limited amount of catches?" Does Steve Sarkisian remind you of Paul Johnson? Does a Steve Sarkisian offensive scheme that incorporated even more spread and shotgun in 2019 (with multiple receiver sets) after the installation of Tua at QB remind you of Paul Johnson's run-heavy flexbone offense featuring 3 RBs (triple option/veer) and a more than 2-to-1 run-to-pass ratio? Ruggs had "only 40 receptions" (in 2019 alone)? Stephen Hill had only 49 total receptions over a 3-year career at Georgia Tech. Further, Stephen Hill only had 28 receptions in his best year. Georgia Tech's 2nd leading receiver? Orwin Smith with a measly 11 catches (the only other Ga. Tech receiver in double-digits). Ruggs' was among FIVE Alabama receivers with double-digit receptions last year (Devonta Smith and Najee Harris ring a bell?). Stephen Hill (while a great athlete) did not have close to Henry. Ruggs' football skills, beginning with his hands....and wan one of the reasons why Stephen Hill was drafted well into the 2nd round (#43) while Henry Ruggs is a top half of the 1st round pick (i.e. top 15). This reminds me of context-free cluelessness.
