I refuse to watch it because of the host, custer or whatever, the guy is an absolute moron, and he sucks as a host.
buttle is always ridiculous....he has become the rod gilbert of the jets...Gilbert doesnt miss a ranger function at the garden, nor does he miss an opportunity to tell everyone how great the rangers are.. I dont think this man has eaten a morsel of food that hasnt come off a garden buffet table in the last ten years. what a shill this buttle is...buying up old jet has-beens on the pregame show like theyre stocks.embarrassing
I DO TiVo it. And then I erase it, without watching it. That's how I watched the first two episodes. Even worse, I set my DVR to record Jets Nation on Friday, and it records EVERY occurrance of Jets Nation. So I wind up with multiple copies of the same exact show. That is ridiculous. Then you top it off with crappy hosting, and nothing interesting being said? Not to mention the terrible audio? Come on. I'm done with "Jets Insider." Maybe during the season, but unless they get some talented journalists on that program, I am going nowhere near it. Sadly, this forum has better, more pertinent information, even from the morons.
Oh man I thought I was the only one that had the problem. I went on a week's vacation and had about 30 different episodes on my DVR- even though I only selected "NEW" episodes. Do you have DishNetwork by chance?
koz i must ask if you made the move from cable to dish why would you get dish network instead of directv?
""""Ray Lucas said on the show this week " Mark my words, Doug Jolley is going to be a pro bowler this year."""""" He's right.....Jolley is going to quit football this year and take up bowling....
ah well.. it's good fluffer television. it's a nice transition to see something on TV where the Jets are being praised until we put it back on the NFL Network or Sportscenter to be told how we're the worst team in the league, and even Buffalo's season looks brighter.
I tape it and watch it weekly. It is pretty bad, but this is what we want as fans. These guys have to basically make stuff up to fill the show so when the season starts they can actually do something semi-worthwhile, BUT there will never be the transparency for the team or players that existed with Herm in charge. This is a good thing in my mind, I want Mangini and co to be secretive, quiet, and not have all kinds of tv coverage. It makes for a pretty poor show in the offseason, but hopefully, once the TC starts and the season gets underway, the show will get a little better. I am not a fan of Custer, Buttle and Rutgers Ray almost always just "agree 100%" with each other, which gets old, and the spot shots of Fireman Ed on the streets of NY are pathetic. All that said, I will still watch/try to support this monstrosity over a lot of other TV programming.
No I have Time Warner Digital Cable, Queens. I don't like satellite for internet access, and the package Time Warner was offering when I signed up was really good, including the internet access. As for new episodes, I am pretty sure they air first on Friday night, but maybe with the Mets games, they have been pushed to Saturday morning. (I think the problem is that they all have the same name, and don't show as repeats.)
imsorry to say that i am still watchin the show i mean yes it sucks at times but i need my information and if ray lucas wants to pull a rabbit out of his hat and say that vinny testeverde is takin us to the superbowl then so beit
JD A family member had Dish before I subscribed, and I didn't have any feedback from folks on DirectV before that point. It's reasonably priced, the reception is awesome, and I am a big fan of the Sirius music channels, which I play quite a bit (especially in the backyard during the summer months). Yes Network isn't important to me, and I have no interest in the SundayTicket- so there really isn't any need to look elsewhere. If it 'aint broke don't fix it I guess- If I've lost reception for a total of 2 hours in 4 years it's alot, customer service is also very good, so I'll be staying around for a while. That being said, when FIOS by Verizon rolls out, I will surely be taking a peek.
Actually, I watched a TiVo'd episode of Jets Nation yesterday, and both Buttle and Lucas said that Buffalo would be the most improved team in the division, not us... haha, we can't even get a break on Homer-TV
I believe when the show first aired they were going to talk freely about the Jets and tell it like it is meaning the GOOD and the BAD. Both sides with no strings attached. At least let them be honest and TELL it like it is as we the fans see it now. This team has alot of work to do and maybe if they said that instead of saying how good were going to be I would watch it more. But because the offseason is so long I will take whatever I can get and hope they try to stick with the orignal plan. JUST TELL IT LIKE IT IS.
my angle was of course the sunday ticket...if you dont want then certainly dish network is perfectly fine......so now i have another question...why dont you have any interest in the sunday ticket????you must have a life...because I need that shit....im most grateful for my wife my kid(soon to be kids any day) and my sunday ticket
No interest in the sunday ticket simply because time on the weekends is limited. If I had more time and was more interested in watching other team's games, then I would most likely sign up for it. But with a FT job and commute to/from Manhattan/LI, a wife (with a to-do list) and one year old son, weekends don't give that much time. It seems as though most folks with the ticket are VERY satisfied.
