I wish him well. He didn't do anything for us, mostly because he was always injured. when he finally played this year, he was really a non-factor, but I thought he got better as he played.

As for his ST, I never knew he was on the field for ST, lol. We had high hopes for him but he just never panned out. Since all he could do is study, maybe he'll tell you every secret about us.

He's above Gholston in the all-time sack list, at least.

Crable sucks or he'd still be in a Pats uniform.

Just because a player is injured that doesn't mean that they suck. Crable seems to have been unable to get himself healthy enough to get on the field. It doesn't seem right to trash a guy who has been injured and just say that he sucks.

He's actually played half decent this year (got a sack last week). Basically it was a numbers game. The Pats have alot of LB's ahead of him now, and they brought back Woods because he is a better special team performer.

If he can ever stay healthy, you may get something out of him.

The question is did he actually do something special on the sack or was he just in the right place right time?

What I'm interested in is how much all the niggling injuries have affected th insane speed and athleticism he had coming out of college.

I remember after the Pats snagged him in the 3rd RD in the draft a few years ago, all I thought of at the time was how BB would be able to make him an effective player, but hasn't turned out so. Will be interesting to see what we do with him

This is a pretty good pick up, Shawn had all the tools coming out to be a good pass rushing LB.

Maybe he finds himself playing in our attacking defense instead of the Pats Jack of all trades LB cores.

he had great speed out of college and seemed like he'd become a good QB killer on 3rd and long (ala jason taylor).

maybe rex thinks he can use him next season as taylor's replacement on passing downs 10-14 snaps a game....can't get hurt playing 12-14 snaps a game.
