A lot of it is due to quirky scheduling. Look how seldom we've played the Eagles in our history. Ten years ago we won at Oakland for the first time ever to get in the playoffs, what people left out was that the Raiders left Oakland for 15 years, the Jets beat them in the playoffs in LA but had not won in Oakland. Now they have, same as Pittsburgh.

oh god that '96 game was BRUTAL. I have a horrible memory anyway and I have almost completely blocked out that whole season from my memory but for some reason, and IDK why, I can remember that game pretty clearly. That is honestly perhaps the most bleak our franchise ever looked.. blowing a big lead at home in front of NOBODY to fall to 1-14. Thank God we got the Tuna that offseason, drafted Peyton Manning that April and won 3 superbowls with the greatest passing combination the game has ever seen with Manning/Keyshawn Johnson.. OH Wait
Yes I was actually at the last time they played in the meadowlands. It was the wonderful 1-16 Kotite year of 1996. OL Randall Cunningham kicked our ass....07 game?? You sure? I dont remember that one.
As I mentioned I've blocked most of it out, but I was there. Sunny day in October, Jets wore the Titans unis for the first time. I seem to remember we came out strong on the first drive but it was a lackluster game from then on.
They wore the Titans uni's, I think that was the first time. I took my son to his first game, it must have been confusing rooting against the green team.
I remember that 2007 game only too well and in all seriousness we could have won had we used a dominant Thomas Jones late in the game at 1st and goal from the 5 yard line. I think this game was the beginning of the end for Chad too.
This is not the past. Welcome to the present... SOJF need to fade and fade quickly they won't be able to understand success and try to convince us all in was "fluky/lucky". Troll ass JETS fans.
No, if you think this team will never win anything, that cutting sanchez now is a good idea, that Rex's boasts make you worry and scared and you wish he'd just shut up, if you hate what Woody Johnson's done in the past 10 years, if you just want to say I told you so - then you are a SOJF. Sunshiners think that this winning streak will have the Jets blowing out playoff teams come January. There's a great chance this team goes one and done if they don't play the Broncos (I think Rex will have Tebow's number if there is another meeting). This team isn't good enough to return to where they were in 09 and 10
I don't think that was implied, he was just posting some interesting facts. I think that is TBD, we weren't great heading into postseason either of the last 2 years. I think people forget that, we may not make it this year and if we do we could be one and done or we could go on a run. We'll see what happens butto act like we had these dominant teams the last 2 years w/ title game expectations heading into postseason is incorrect. Up until '03 we had alternated 2 game win streaks, we won in 74 & 81, NYG won in 84 & 87, we won in 88 & 93, NYG won in '96 & '99. Not easy but certainly one we could go 3-0 in IF we play the way we are capable. people are acting like the 7-6 Giants(winners of 1 of their last 5) are a juggernaut, few games are easy for the Jets but this stretch is very manageable.
wait, the giants are in a 4 win streak against us? this is just perfect, two streaks to end fuck yeah
