Never satisfied!!!!!! This should be the mantra of Every Jets fan.. I am Not Satisfied! We do this all the time. We look good and then go on vacation. I am not satisfied! Big woopty Do! We beat the Colts . Beat the Patriots and we will still Not be satisfied!
Jets played great today!!! Greene still sucks in my book but he played a hell of a game!! Cant wait for next week
my apologies if I was a bit sensitive to seeing people downplay this victory. there are people who think the only way to become a Super Bowl team is to be terrible, tear this team apart and start over. because, obviously, every team that is terrible and gets a high draft pick eventually wins the Super Bowl, so that is the route to go, rather than a steady build of adding good players to an established base of good players.
Big difference when your OL run blocks and your QB limits mistakes. Gotta say next weeks game with the Pats is a toss up in my mind. Congrats on the victory.
Started this thread cause I was jazzed about the game...logged on here and saw nothing but the usual grumbling. I was actually shocked. Some people need to live in the moment and enjoy a game well played instead of being massively insecure about the team. How the hell can you enjoy the game of football if you constantly have a craw up your ass about other teams being "better" than you? 99% of the time, there will always be better teams out there, so might as well not give yourself ulcers about it.
...But we can't take your word for it because you are obviously concussed. It was a great game to watch and the team mostly played well. Almost everything worked. That said - I certainly understand people being upset about the previous three weeks. But it is time to move on and start getting excited about the game this week.
We're in a 4-way tie for: "OMG I can't believe Brady is getting old!" "Why the hell did we pay that much for Mario!" "Tebow! Tebow! Tebow!" "Damn, this is nice."
I was at the game and I don't think we beat the '85 Bears yesterday, did we? Great win, fun to see, enjoyed it very much so, but I still don't think we'll see a win again until November 18th against St. Louis. Hope I'm wrong.
Technically we are in second in the division. Tiebreakers are as follows, (1) Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). So this puts us ahead of Fish and Bills. (2) Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. Although we have more wins in the division (2) than the Pats (1), both teams have the same winning percentage within the division (.1000). (3) Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. We both beat the Bills, so we both have .1000 in common games. (4) Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. Pats have a 3-1 conference record (.750) and we have a 3-2 conference record (.600), so they have a higher conference percentage and have the advantage in the tiebreaker right now. I can't believe I took the time to look that up. Small pleasures I guess.
Only thing people should complain about is penalties. Have penalties like that against Tommy and he will kill us. I'm still excited about yesterday.
Yeah, people being upset and grumpy over this have no business being Jets fans. The thing is most negative fans on here are actually trolls from other teams and people don't realize it. They stir the pot no matter what happens, like the clown above that said we wont win again until St luis. Our defense played its best game of the season, we had our best running game of the year. There really wasn't all that much to complain about. Both sides of the ball did their job. It's not like the Bills game where our run game sucked and run defense sucked. We played good all around. A few unnecessary penalties, but seriously. The Packers lost to the Colts last week. We beat them coming off a short week. The sky is not falling, although I wish some these "fans" would just jump off the cliff already.
