i like th eopinion and id be extatic if we did end up with Quinn, but its not gonna happen. with the top 4 pick one of the top 3 qb's of the draft will fall to us. by the time draft day comes cutler will be the big topic. only way this seems possible is if they just flat out decide to ignore a glaring need now. i dont like that strategy what if Quinn has a career ending injury next NCAA season? bold prediction though an theyre always fun, I wouldnt mind having Quinn but i dont think itll happen.
The Notre Dame hype machine has been pumping Quinn up since he threw his first pass last season. A couple games in Charlie Weiss' offense with 3 7' tall recievers and the guy is a top pick. I'm not going to go so far as to say I wish a catastrophic injury on the guy that would put this talk to rest, but I do hope he has an absolutely miserable season.
The QB IS the most important position on the field!!! You make sure that is in place first... THEN you fix everything else. And rigth now our QB is Pennington and he might never play again!
