Yeah it pretty much does...they have to repair the field after every game. I hardly doubt they have ever both played in the same stadium in the same day...

Yes it does, they can't clear/clean the stadium and parking lot for two games in one day. Has never happened, and I doubt it ever will. They've done Sat/Sun back to back before but never on the same day.

    My guess is Buffalo...

We play Houston at home this season and neither of those teams will be push overs...

The Redskins v. Vikings sounds pretty crappy to me. But the San Diego v. Oakland game is a division game & those teams hate each other as much as Jets v. Dolphins or Giants v. Cowboys/Skins.

Can't wait to see what Philip Rivers can do. He was one of the best college QB's in recent memory.

NCAA?s second all-time leading passer with 13,484 yards... MVP of five bowl games, including 2004 Senior Bowl... holds every major school passing record at N.C. State... seventh in Heisman Trophy voting as senior... 34-17 record as starter among NCAA-record 51 career starts... second in NCAA history with 13,582 total yards... tied for fifth in NCAA history with 95 touchdown passes... set school and Atlantic Coast Conference career records for passing attempts (1,710), completions (1,147), touchdowns responsible for (112), 300-yard passing games (18) and 400-yard passing games (7)... seventh quarterback in NCAA history and first in ACC history with three 3,000-yard seasons... second-team All-America by NFL Draft Report as senior... 2003 ACC Player of Year and first-team All-ACC after leading NCAA in completion percentage (.720) and passer rating (170.5)... ranked second nationally in passing yards (4,491) and total offense per game (353.9)

And as long as it's not like the Chiefs game who cares.

I think that may have been the worst opener ever........

I want to open at the Fins or Pats. It's go time!!!!

I doubt it will be the patriots we play, because they want to spread out the games that will reach major headlines and mangini going against belichek jets, patriots is going to be big.

Brady never would have won anything without Belichick.

And I don't want to see New England till about midway through the season.

what about at green bay? if it goes good vs. good and bad vs. bad, this would be very possible, i dont know if the fact that it was our 2000 opening game has anything to do with it though....man what a great game that was....farve fires downfield, time running out, wide open and..............victor green picks it off :)

I agree completely. I could see us starting off with 2-3 cream puffs leading up to a Patriots matchup. Undefeated Mangini faces off against his undefeated mentor. Would be a great promo.
