If you think this talent is the same I don't know what to tell you. We don't have great talent but we have the best talent we have had since 2010 plus we upgraded at OC from last year. He had one bad year when he had no help w/ the worst offensive talent in the league and Tony Sparano.
Could you find a shittier measuring stick? Why don't you say we're not the worst team on the east coast and point to Jags? That'd make about as much sense
a) why are you in a Jets game thread? b) he threw for 400 yds and cost his team the game w/ 2 INTs I can't believe fans cite yards as some measuring stick.
People on here are hilarious. When you start a rookie QB, you evaluate him after at least 8 games. If that means we are going to go 2-6 over that span then so be it. Lets get a body of work first before making judgement.
look at the talent and OC we had then compared to what we have now. Do you guys actually watch football?
Bringing up Milliner, Cromartie and Wilson says nothing about depth, it proves that we have talent that plays regularly. Depth is about the 4th and 5th CB's who play only a few snaps and get called on when the other players are out. We have always had better 4th and 5th corners than Walls under Rex. You can't go into a season with three CB's who you think can compete in this league, especially when one of them is a rookie. With the defense that Rex likes to run, you can't have a shitty CB like Walls being matched up against NFL receivers. They will get exposed. If Rex liked zone defense, Walls might not look as bad. You can't hide at CB in this defense though.
I hate it when they call Geno the future. Like the Jets have publicly made that decision. He's a quarterback, yes. He's young, yes. But if Marcus Mariota was available in the draft, we wouldn't pick him??
Fuck Sanchez. He is in the past. Junk is the only one who clings to a glimmer of hope. I want to see Simms starting 2nd half. Maybe give Geno one more series to see if he got his head screwed in properly during the halftime. If not -- Simms is in and age I is learning from the sideline.
Yup. Growing pains, that's what you gotta chalk it up to. Unfortunately, I can't live with the sloppiness of all the penalties. Ruined that one drive where we could have made it 17-10
No, we just read your posts, who gives shit about on field performance when there is Junc to tell us what really happen.
Got mixed up with yards of offense, and passing yards. He still threw for 300 yards which still isn't bad...
Jesus Christ how many interceptions have us Jets fans seen our QBs throw the last 3 years?! Feels like a thousand
