So do I but I'll settle for Smith and this really young jets team developing and showing real improvement throughout the season. I feel like I have to break news to some people on here.....we're not going to the Super Bowl this year. Sorry to break that to you, it's a rebuilding/development year. We lost this game, regroup and move on to the next battle.
The Bears ran that same play for a 50 yard TD earlier. Of course, they have Forte, and we have Alex Green. Nuff said.
Don't think that was a stupid play call. Could have been a big play considering the obvious thing was power it up the middle. Good D by the Titans.
That play was a result of last week where we ran straight ahead on 3rd and 4th down and 1 and didn't get it.
Outcoached and outplayed. Shit happens... congrats to the Titans and two ex-Jets whom I thought we were wrong in letting go: Turner and Pitoitua.
Also this could be the case. I never do this, but sometimes you just tip your hat to the other team for a good play and move on.
And this is my problem with him. I keep hearing hes a rookie...blah blah. This is shit that you should already know or have at this level. Its like hes just off in space sometimes. Im not calling him a bust, but this is stuff that shouldnt have to be taught at this level
we are going to lose games, to act like all of a sudden we suck and we'll be 2-14 is silly. It's one game, one bad game but there were a lot of correctable mistakes. If it doesn't break him this can be a good learning experience for our young QB and if it does break him he wasn't mentally tough enough to be a good NFL QB anyway.
Its amazing that this team still cant stop these short passes. This secondary has literally been dink and dunked to death this game.
