It doesn't matter really. The point is Tebow was moving the ball relatively well and Sanchez looked like his head was in the clouds all game after taking the hit from Timmons. Tebow should have come in for at least one more set of downs.

I would have liked to see them test that same some of downs with Tebow still.

I think the 2nd and 16 kinda plays to the steelers weariness of Tebow. With their 2 main safeties out, they should have had to play back (cover 1/cover2) that should open up any run, and any short pass.

Bring Sanchez back in, and it tips off the pass (not fair to Sanchez for the record)

2nd and 16 ought to be spread em wide, see if there's a matchup you like, else qb draw for Tebow.

Whichever, he's my boy, I'd like to see him play especially if its working ><

Pittsburgh was playing pass with Tebow in there I still contend. The jets had already gotten in their head with Tebow, and they(the jets brass) didn't trust it.

I think any player, QB or otherwise, deserves the benefit of that doubt when they are smacked in the side of the head with the crown of an opposing player's helmet.

However, I think you are right that pressure would build on Sanchez if he continued to play like that for an extended period of time. The key for him will be how well he comes out against the Dolphins.

For what it's worth, I'm puzzled the Jets didn't let Tebow have more plays against Pittsburgh. It was obvious Sanchez was off a little after that hit. Tebow might have been able to move the ball and at least give Sanchez some time to gather his wits.

Agree with you on your second and third points. On the first point, I honestly don't believe that people would give any QB the benefit of the doubt that he passed poorly due to a "possible" concussion. If it were a confirmed concussion, maybe, but then he should have been pulled from the game. Before Concussiongate started in the NFL, players were out there all the time with concussions still making plays. It's better that they aren't anymore, but I think if Sanchez was concussed, he would have gotten pulled.

Maybe, and this is worse... maybe he got scared after the hard hit, but I wouldn't leap to that conclusion at this time. I watched that game, and I have to say the Jets receivers were dropping very catchable passes. I can't put those drops on Sanchez completely. Some of them were hard to catch, but NFL receivers have to catch those, just like NFL QBs need to be able to make those throws.

    This is fact.

I've got Holmes on my fantasy team because I assumed he was the goto and most reliable jet receiver. Another game like that and I may just have to release him.
