yeah the rule change on the wedge killed Westhoff. he loved designing wedges that would close together late and open up small lanes.

I do think Wilson has amazing vision, patience, and decisiveness when setting up his running lanes with the ball in his hands.

but the Ravens also have good coverage units on ST.

In fairness, I'm not sure how our secondary would cover four receivers, three tight ends, a running back and a linebacker all at the same time. It would take some kind of creative fucking playbook to get them all out there though......

The Ravens are a run first team. Stop Ray Rice, and we'll stop them. Hopefully David Harris and Bart Scott bring their A game tonight. I'm sure Bart will against his former team.

Yea I mean with only 2 offensive linemen, that's going to be quite the challenge. Or are you suggesting they get to use 14 players on offense?

Maybe that's what Cam Cameron figured out from watching HK.

There's some of that. But on substance most of the skepticism I have seen is focused on questions about which Sanchez is going to show up. They think the one we saw in pre-season, the same one we saw early last year, is the one who will. Not the one who played well in the playoffs.

Many here have speculated that the pre-season Sanchez was misleading because they were not showing what the O will really look like. Perhaps. But I don't really know.

We will certainly know a lot more tonight, won't we?

I think you've discovered his secret. The man (Cam) is a genius.

ray rice and ngata=keys to the game

Ravens fans are too busy thinking theyre the Pats. im more concerned with ray rice on a stretch play to the right while we overload left and leave him in the open field 20 yards past the LOS

I tend to think Sanchez will be more impressive than not. Its well documented that Sanchez's greatest strength is the fact that he's a study/workaholic and prepares himself religiously.

A lot of fans that aren't too familiar with Sanchez (particularly the Ravens fans I've seen making predictions on this game) seem to expect Sanchez to come out looking bewildered and confused and to just lay up an egg of a game to a very good Ravens defense.

If anything, I expect he may throw one maybe even two awful passes that should be picked off... that's definitely expected... anymore than that then I'd say its almost certain we lose. Still, despite the occasional brain fart which Sanchez has a penchant for, he's usually on point and makes good decisions. I don't think we're going to see a Matt Moore implosion like many seem to think.

As long as Sanchez doesn't shit the bed, his performance should be good enough to earn the win.

That they used to be a run first team is beyond question. Now, not so much. They got Boldin for a reason, and Flacco is playing with more confidence. I fully expect to see a balanced attack from them.

"Matt Moore implosion" Heh! Yeah, that was awful. Giants lucked out.

As for the rest, I hope you are right. We got a lot riding on #6.

They're going to use Ray Rice and often. So long as we don't get burned with the screen(Eric Smith on him?) I think we'll be able to contain their O.

Also Sanchez needs to play well. But we already know the success of this team is on his shoulders.

I'm more worried about the Ravens running the hurry up offense.

The Jets were able to do a fairly good job of neutralizing the screen pass against the Patriots last year so I'm sure they'll be prepared for that this week.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago! He's fucking awesome and will be a HUGE factor, I hope, in shutting down Ray Rice.

It's funny, remember how right before last year's first game, we heard so much about how Houston would run all over us, and their RB was a huge threat, and then Big Jenks KILLED the run game.

I love Ray Rice cause he want to Rutgers and is local, but tonight I am hoping he looks like ME at RB!

    nice!

yeah its always funny cuz I go to a Jets Fan Club here with usually 80-120 jet fan turnout and everywhere else ive been i dont see anyone in a Lunchbox jersey.

always fun cause hes always blowing people up and making plays. makes it much easier to hold your jersey out in celebration after those plays lol.

hes easily one of my favorite all time Jets even being he'll only have had been here a few years by the time its over.

just love his game, the guy is SCARY agile and fast for someone with his frame.

he was one of my favs in CAR and when we got him I shit bricks.

Leaving in a few minutes. If you're going to the game as well, be loud.

If you're watching from home or a bar, be loud anyway.
