Draino called for the ball while Salas was in front of him. Time to sit the rookie.

Well, Geno has done nothing for a half. If it is ultimately the O-Line's fault, then putting Simms in won't make things any better.

Of course, if Simms goes in and the Offense does look better, then you have the answer.

If Simms looks even worse, then all the better. You know what direction to take come next year's draft.

What good does leaving Geno in do? Not hurt his feelings? Coddling Sanchez for a couple years worked out just great for his development.

totally agree with all of this.

But our qb hasnt made a decent play in weeks. I see nothing..NOTHING to show that he will spark this team right now.

If the defenders are so into this guy that they want to throw away the season and NOT EVEN TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT...so be it.

Oh god this board is lost forever, no logic or reasoning behind it. Lets just put someone else in there to have the same results.

You don't get it do you? Of course that stuff isn't his fault, but as the quarterback I think you have to have the ability to make things happen when things aren't going your way. Maybe Matt Simms can make something happen, maybe he can't. But we won't know until they try to shake it up because what we're seeing now doesn't seem to be changing. At this point the defense might have to win it.

And then what, bench the whole offense?

    Tone, 1 drop.
    Nelson, 1 drop.
    OL, no pass protection.
Geno, really actually hasn't been brutal, but he's a part of this.

Bill Callahan was a genius of an O-Line coach because after he left this Line has been doo doo.

I strongly dislike the majority of our fan base. Geno hasn't been asked to do anything, so how could he do anything? Why would you pull your starting quarterback when he's been asked to throw 7 times?

Our QB is not trusted by his coaches to throw anymore than he has. Time to cut bait and try something new.

Hopefully the D can come out with a stop, and MM can dig deep down for an explosive play. Look for something to buy the offense some protection ad let the WR get open.

Might as well....won't change much if at all. Simms will get pummeled, see penalties pushing them back further, see targets drop passes, get the ball taken out of his hands and then get written out of the league for hardly much of his own doing.

We need to keep doing it. WR screens would spread out he defense a little. This would allow us to run better, and it negates the Ravens Pass rush. When the oline struggles the best way to get them back on their game is to get it off their shoulders. Get the ball to the WR let them make plays. We keep too much of the game in the box and thats why we struggle. Get the game out of the box. It does not always have to be deep passes
