Because Petty gives us the best chance to win.

 

Petty has been overcoached, almost robotic. He is not playing loose. He is looking at his first read and if its even the slight bit available he takes it rather than waiting for a better play to develop. I dont know how this impacts his accuracy, but I think it doesnt help. Maybe he doesnt want another season ending injury.

 

Well our head coach isnt calling any plays, so that could be it

Obviously Brady is still in the game at this point because BB senses the impending Bowles in game adjustment which will lead to the Petty comeback.
