Spikes looks to be coming back slowly after his four game suspension so that's an issue. Even in the blowout the Jets ran the ball pretty well early in the second half. So we shall see.
Jets have an honest legit Super Bowl, so do the Patriots. The fact is, they were caught cheating in the regular season, three years ago.
The Jets were running the ball fairly well all game I felt. First drive, we got it into your territory and Rex made the boneheaded decision to kick that FG. Obviously that's not why we lost but it just set the tone for what ended up being a miserable game. Rex coached scared, I'm hoping he doesn't do it again
I guess stealing signals worked out great for the Broncos this year, didn't it? Where's Arlen Specter's outrage over that? Stealing signals doesn't make you throw, catch, block, or tackle better than the opponent. I'm not condoning cheating by any means, but you still have to go out and execute the gameplan. Also, Bill Cowher said on the radio that he used to steal signals too but there's no outrage over that either.
You cheated this year, Does that taint last seasons accomplishments? The league tried to make an example out of the Pats because they knew that teams were doing it and the sent out a memo around the league but BB gave Roger the middle finger and continued.
Why are we always bringing up the cheating shit? Just like that 45-3 debacle is in the past so is any cheating that went on. (I would hope) Like my Grandmother always said don't live in the past.
