What we expect and what comes to be in Jet games this year has been different for the most part.We expected blowouts for 4 consecutive weeks, what did we get 3 edge of your seat heart attack games and one game we won by 16 only because one player had a career day.

I love how our new aqcuisitions are out for blood. Jason Taylor, L.T., Cromartie.

We got the cavalry coming, we are not alone like last year.

Heck yeah I love it!!!!!!! I mean really, us Jet fans know better than anyone else what it's like to be "green". We haven't been to a SB in 42 years. You think I want some on the fence Giants fans or Bills fans converting just in time for the playoffs? No room on this bandwagon. We suffered long enough, let's prove something to the world.

the jets are so much better at the rush than cleveland, and our defense is better. i dont expect the game to go much differently than that.

and lets not downplay the browns here, that was a big game for both sides. if you dont seem to remember correctly, mangini was the one who brought all this dishonor on the pats franchise, that conveniently gets ignored by everyone in the sports media because boston rules espn, but thats besides the point.

there is a lot of bad blood between these franchises right now and im willing to bet the pats were just as amped up as the browns were to play this game and beat the other coach down. so, for peyton hillis , a guy the jets held to under a buck, to run for almost 2 on the pats.

its going to be a good game, but jesus christ the jets arent the underdogs here by any means.

I get a kick out of how much weight people on this board have put into the Cleveland game. The Patriots played their worst game of the season that day, and have since followed it up by playing their three best games. Sure it's possible they come out and play like crap again, but you guys seem to think that one game is indicative of how we have played all season.

When the two losses are against Ryan defenses, you can't blame us for seeing a pattern.

Just because they share the same last name does not mean they run the same defense. What Cleveland runs is actually much more similar to the Patriots style of defense (Mangini and Ryan both coached under BB) as they run more of the 2 gap stuff as opposed to the blitz and man up coverages Rex loves to run.

But my point was when the Patriots went into Cleveland, they played horribly. I'm not trying to take anything away from the Browns, they played well and deserved to kick our ass, I'm simply saying that the Patriots have played enough quality football that it's silly for you guys to assume you are going to get a similar performance, especially at home.

If you guys want sit around all week and hold out hope that the game will play itself out like the Browns game did, be my guest. It just doesn't seem terribly likely to me, and I'm certainly not expecting the Jets to play like they did against Green Bay.

Do we think Revis will be on Welker? I think they'll play a decent amount of zone, but I'd imagine in man to man it'd be Revis on Welker, Cromartie on Branch, Coleman on Tate and Wilson on Edelman, assuming Lowery is still out.

Sorry but Branch is a water bug so Cromatie can't cover him.

We simply don't have the personnel to cover the waterbug. That coupled with the uncoverable TE's they have makes this pretty much an unwinnable game for us.

Just a stat from a Patriot fan

Yes the Jets did beat NE in week 2. That was a while ago & both teams are a bit different now. Corrrect?
A stat that no Jet fan want's to talk about is; Since then, the Jets haven't beat a team with a winning record.

If you can say the Patriots are a much different team than they were in week 2, then why can't I say a lot of those teams we played close were different as well? Detroit is tough at home when they actually have their starting QB and RB. It's tough to travel to Denver on a short week. Cleveland is much improved, and came off an ass whooping of you guys going into our game. The Texans can have good and bad days. We won all of those games.

When the Jets have scored a touchdown this year, they are undefeated.

IDK what you mean by waterbug. I'm getting an inside joke vibe, considering you're clearly being sarcastic. Also, who covers Hernandez? I've heard some say Wilson, that's probably the most likely scenario. Our safeties and LBs can't handle him.

The Jets are 1-1 vs teams with a winning record since week 2. Unlike the Pats, they are undefeated against teams without a winning record.

That just proves my point. You're beating bad helpless teams.

And yes the Pats have played poor at times, and we got spanked in the second half by the Jets. Got killed by the Browns.

Just a tip for you NYJ fans. The Patriots have been saving a player for the playoff run. He'll be shaking off some rust in the Patriots dismantling this Monday night.

Are you talking about Fred Taylor? I would be more than happy to see him take carries away from the law firm.

What will your excuse be when Brady "only scores 17 points" this week?
