People understand what you are saying but everyone also thinks your wrong. You don't win football games by going conservative when you have a great chance to score. Its not like we are playing the Jaxvile D. We have been dominating this D all day and there was no reason to just "settle" for a FG.
Why should I? That was a good call, not a time to be conservative. It's 3rd and 1 on the 45 yd line. Throw a bomb and even if it's picked, they will have shit field position. If it's incomplete, you still only need 1 yd on 4th down.
So should they have just taken a knee and run the clock down? Because running the ball is risking a fumble, or a holding penalty that makes for a tougher field goal. There is no coach in the NFL who wouldn't have gone for a touchdown there. Paul Hackett, Herm, Marty, nobody is that conservative. There is absolutely no logic in not being somewhat aggressive there.
I really hope that Mangini brings him in as a coach if he does end up hanging it up. If Leon pans out, that leaves us with a ton of possibilities in the future of where to go in FA and the draft.
