    Let me start this off with...I like that Rugland kid. lol lol

    Now...I don't think so...what I saw is Gmac getting run over because our o-line depth is for shit. He had no time...then on top of that he was speared right in the mouth. No, I like what I see. I hope the Jets do too.

    McElroy has no arm and takes too many sacks. He should not be part of this QB competition. He is back up at best and there is no way that the Jets should be splitting starting reps 3 ways. Its bad enough to split them between two players already.

    If Smith is hurt, the competition is over and we have to wait for Sanchez to fail again.

    and is it just me or are they giving G-mac WAY more pass opportunities than Smtih?

    I like the idea of McElroy and he looks good in preseason most of the time, but the San Diego sackfest was probably one of the weirdest Jets game I've ever seen.

    McElroy has really good feet and pocket presence. He just needs the practice reps and game experience and he could be a very mobile QB that could extend plays.

    People forget that he has played a total of 1.5 regular season games and being the 3rd string QBs he has gone 2 years without getting practice reps. He pretty much has the same total experience as Smith.
