Ughhhh he was having such a good night too. If you think about it now, Sanchez has given up 7 points via pick 6 and at least 3 via this pick. The two types of turnovers you NEED to avoid are ones that returned for points and ones in the RZ.
Can't dog him right there. He was trying to make something happen before he left the game. Overall not bad Sent from my LG-VM670 using Tapatalk 2
This is two games played in the new system and two crappy int's where you just cannot afford them. Why would anybody think that giving Mark Sanchez snaps this year was anything more than damage control against starting the rookie too early?
This game is a microcosm of Sanchez's whole career. If he has all day to throw, and the guy he locks in on is wide open, he can hit him with a nice pass. Otherwise he is dog shit. The problem is that any fucking qb can look great when he has all day to throw to wide open guys.
We simply cannot have that shit happening. That's 3 easy points, 7 if he takes his eyes off of Kellen
Couples seems like hes in the vicinity but just can't get a hand on the back. I like how he's following pursuit and catching up with the play again. I think once he gets his techniques down he might be alright as a LB.
Idzik and MM might think they can slavage Sanchez and get the good out of him only. But two preseason games, two turnovers taking points off the board or giving points to the other team/
You can't try to divert all the blame from Sanchez. He deserves a lot of the blame since he was the one pulling the trigger. If the receivers aren't in the right position throw it away.
Yes. My 14 year old plays WR, and CB. In that situation, hes made to understand, that when the defender gives up the goal line. You have to break underneath.period. And Winslow was looking for a calk there, but that was on him, on a bang bang play. Snap throw, get underneath 7. There is no way the CB, should have gotten underneath the TE, Freeze the replay at 9:49. Winslow puts himself into the bracket instead of underneath the CB. I have a JV player that k ows better than that, Its also possible that the play call was for hill, because Winslow blocks as hill comes open, to the right. But Sanchez will tell ypu in the post game.
Two int's in 2.5 quarters, not two games. He played only 1 qtr in the first game and 1.5 so far today.
