Geno's mistakes so far: INT 1: Good decision/read, bad throw. Don't care about the WR not making a play, still a bad throw. INT 2: Just tried to do too much. Take a sack if necessary, threw it up, rookie mistake you see a lot. INT 3: Another rookie mistake, made up his mind where he was throwing without making a read. He also has happy feet back there. For a rookie, expected. As a QB in a competition against watered down competition, not enough to win it. Oh well, the world moves on
Now you Sanchez haters can layoff the fucking kid. You all begged for Mcelroy he bombed, now Geno and he is bombing. Heres the fact, the Jets offensive unit lacks talent. Name one player that defensive coordinators are game-planning for when they play the Jets offensse? NO ONE. We have the worst offensive unit in the NFL, even the bills you have to gameplan for Stevie Johnson, the Dolphins you have to gameplan for Mike Wallace, the Giants you have to Gameplan for Nicks and Cruz, the Patriots you have to gameplan for Gronkowski and now Amendola. Not a single weapons scares anyone, none. 2010 people had to try and stop Holmes, Edwards, L.T. all at the same time, today there is nothing that will scare anyone. But keep blaming the QBs who are all clearly pressing because they do not have much to work with. They are trying to make plays out of nothing, thats it.
On a positive note. Richardson looks like a stud thus far. Ironic how he was the one pick that people were questioning the most, and it looks like he might be our best rookie.
it can't joey Harrington was a 3rd overall pick who the lions had to pay a shitload of money to. geno is a 2nd round pick with minimal cap implications. so we aren't screwed if he doesn't workout
Let's hope Milliner and Cro don't get banged up this season. CB depth doesn't look too good covering outside receivers.
The posts forgiving Geno's performance because these receivers suck are laughable. Are the pro bowl receivers only playing when nacho is in?
